I remember watching the show wen the girls get thier hair done in the begining...alot of them got weaves.. (whole head braided) is this harsh on ur hair? will it stop growing? can u get only half your head done to add volume and mass? helpppppppp lol

You can get whole or half done. The braiding is harsh on your hair, it will not stop your hair from going though. It just causes some breakage to the hair. The are several ways to get weave though, you can have it braided in, you can have it glued in (on your scalp), or you can have it actually glued into your hair (this was they take pieces of hair (the weave) and glue it to very very small sections of your hair. In my opinion either way looks great as long as you have someone who knows what they are doing, to actually do the weave for you, and if you buy good quality hair. My favorite however is the last of what I listed, it takes the longest amount of time, but looks the most natural to me.
