"Black Women" Pointers for growing your hair?

Someone give me some tips on growing longer, healthier, thicker hair? My hair has always been thin and I dont know if it will ever thicken out. Probably not huh! Plus my hair has always been frail and short meaning neck wise. I dont know what else to do but wear weave. Please give me some answers.

"Black Women" Pointers for growing your hair?

My advice to you is to Shampoo less and condition more...Shampoo strips your hair if you do it too much... Also invest in a really good deep conditioner.. Do not put too many hair products in your hair...and if you use any type of heating tools make sure to use a heat protection serum like..IC Hair Polisher by Fantasia...or Let's Jam Heat Protector...this protects your hair from the heat...Using alot of heating tools (flat irons, curling irons, hair dryers) causes split ends and ultimately will dry your hair out....Also oil your scalp...nothing to heavy use like carrot oil, or jojoba oil, or olive oil...and if you dont want to go through all that you can keep your hair in braids (but make sure you keep your braids maintained and oil your scalp)..If you use Hair Gels then make sure that the gel youre using doent have alcohol in it...alcohol strips your hair.... To sum all this up.. Shampoo Less, Condition Your Hair More, Invest in a Heat Protector, Minimize how much you use heating tools, Clip your Ends, Oil Your Scalp, Braid your hair (optional), Use Non-Alcohol Products, and the biggie... DO NOT DYE YOUR HAIR!! I found a link on the internet that might help you out....I hope I helped you...kisses hugs and shrugs...xoxo

"Black Women" Pointers for growing your hair?

I AM NOT BLACK BUT TRY NOT RELAXING YOUR HAIR.. I KNOW IT GETS TUFF BUT FLAT IRON IT INSTEAD

"Black Women" Pointers for growing your hair?

im the first to answer YAY at least i thought i was!!! LOl well that is a tough one if you didnt kno the thinner your hair is you shouldnt put tracks in your hair so much it will cause your hair to brake so just wash your hair around every two weeks and condition it everytime you wash it try not to braid your hair into micros either but back to your question keep washin it condition it and grease your hair everyday make sure and try not to put heat on you hair alot that causesalot of breakage but if you have anymore questions feel free to email me i can give further tips i just dont want to take up alot of spaces lol

"Black Women" Pointers for growing your hair?

u can relax your hair but get it done professionally 2 prevent overprosessing. flat ironing can cause split ends and it doesn't last long in heat. i get relaxers and a wrap set and i get my ends cut periodically. my hair is past my shoulders and is very healthy.

"Black Women" Pointers for growing your hair?

Go natural. No relaxers or petrolatum based products. (You can tell if a hair product is petrolatum based by looking at the list of ingredients. If the first or second item on the list is petrolatum/paraffin/mineral oil, put it down!)

See what your hair's natural texture is. I relaxed my hair for 10 years and it never grew beyond my jawline, and would crack and dry out and break off. I cut my relaxed hair off and just grew my 'Fro, and within 8 months, my hair was as long as it had gotten in 10 years of relaxing. I lock my hair now, and my hair is the healthiest it's ever been. Give your natural hair a try.

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

Just admit that you don't like to have your hair nappy. For those of you that say you do, why do your avatars have the afro or nappy pigtails avatars? Okay, I have nappy hair and I hate it. I don't find myself attractive with an afro, and obviously I'm not the only one. I don't see very many black women walking around with afros,in fact after the 70's, probably 20% or less black women actually have their hair natural by choice.

Most relax, press, or wear weaves %26amp; wigs to straighten out their hair. Also braiding to tame the naps. Why can't you guys stop lying? All races have things that they don't like about themselves, black women happen to have nappy hair and most don't like it. Just admit it. If it weren't true, why would their be so many black women I see that have straight hair?

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

You have a point. It depends on where you live. In the USA black women have been constantly told that our nappy hair is ugly and unfeminine so we've taught our daughters to perm their own hair.

Me personally, I like nappy hair now, but only in certain hairstyles. I would actually grow an afro, but i'd have to cut my relaxed hair off first and that would be too short.

As for my avatar, I have her hair to look the way mine does now.

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

You have issues. And I'm transitioning towards nappy hair right now and my yahoo mail does have an afro avatar. Why don't you just admit you have issues?

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

because you dont like yourself or your hair does not mean other persons dont either, speak for yourself.

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

Guess what? I also have nappy hair. My wife and i are happy to be nappy thank you very much. My wifes beautiful cloud of natural hair was one of the things that first attracted me to her.

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

Some like it, some don't. So everyone doesn't share your view. Get over it. Don't say everyone is lying just because they see things differently from you.

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

Yes, this question is every bit as bizarre as I thought it would be.

Why are you so angry about hair? Do you have nothing important in your life to worry about?

.

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

I'm east indian and my hair=african hair...Just chill man or gal, let their avatars be whatever they want.

P.S. I don't mean to offend you.

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

I saw your other post on skin complexion and you have your own other issues. And you just contradicted yourself because you said " For those of you who say you do, why do your avatars have the afro or nappy pigtails..." Umm if someone LIKES having "nappy" hair why wouldn't they have an avatar that reflects that? About 99.9% of black women who relax their hair do it because it is easier to manage, not because they are trying to be something they are not.

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

Are you serious right now?!? To each is own. If a black woman doesn't like her hair nappy than that's her freakin' choice it has nothing to do with admitting anything or not. It's just that we have a choice to keep it nappy, get it permed, straighten it out, color, cut, braids, corn rolls or whatever it is that we want to do. Ok you have nappy hair and you don't like, sorry but the ones that do don't have to have afros to make you happy. I am an african american female and I am fortunate enough to have a very good grain of hair and it never gets out of control. And what's wrong with nappy hair anyway? Having nappy hair isn't bad!!

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

Different people like different things. My cousin has "nappy hair" and she gets it straightened because she can "manage" it. One of my cousins has "nappy hair" and she leaves her hair natural because she likes it that way. I don't know every Black women but I do know that it's their hair and they can do whatever they want.

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

Where in the world do you live? And are you truly a Black woman, I live in Northern California, over half the women at my church, (congregation is over 6,000 more than half are women) well, the majority have their hair in its natural state, stylishly short, braids, dreads, locks.

There's a handful of us, (like me) who still do the old fashioned straightening perm, I happen to like my hair, straight, due to the nature of my job duties, it is easier to maintain. When I retire, (in six years), I can't wait to allow my hair to be in it's natural state, I will do locks or dreads, probably dreads, I can't wait!! I am really jealous of the sisters who are able to wear their hair in it's natural God given condition.

Remember this......my hair may be Nappy...but my soul is Happy!!!!

Peace be unto you, my sista!!

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

You done pushed my buttons the wrong way. Why don't you admit to the chemical burns you submit your scalp to every so often in the name of relaxing? Why don't you admit the amount of time and hassle you put yourself through every time you leave the house with red hot utensils? How many chemical burn scabs have you picked out of your head? How do you react in the rain? When is the last time you went swimming? When is the last time you burnt your ears with that curling iron?

If you have come to make peace with that, more power to you. But us natural women have nothing to "admit" to you. This society does not represent the beauty that is natural afro hair enough. Nor does it foster a knowledge of how to take care of it or style it so that it's pain free and easy. Us here who are natural have come to find that knowledge, and are living the care free life in regards with our hair. We are embracing the difficult process in learning to find beauty in something that society tells us there is no beauty in.

Leave us the heck alone, and let us live our lives. We have nothing to "admit" to you. If you don't like your hair whatever. But just because you have some serious self hate going on doesn't mean that everyone has to self hate with you.

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

Firstly your obviously not black because if you were you would know calling someone's hair nappy is rude, regardless of race. SOME blacks have a tighter curl pattern or kinky pattern to their hair than others. From your statement you have to be referring to AA(African Americans), because many blacks outside of the US do wear their hair naturally (many caribbean islands, UK, and in Africa seeing natural hair is the norm) and the reason AA may not wear their natural hair is obviously due to history. They were brought over here unwilling, forced to change their culture unwillingly, forced to change their religion unwillingly, all these things over hundreds of years lead to a pattern that many times is difficult to break, hence they have adapted to what was forced upon them and been tricked into believing they are inferior(including their hair)leading to a whole other stigma of good hair/bad hair(specifically directed at the chick who says she has a good grain of hair (as I roll my eyes)), lightskin/darskin, but I digress....think if ur ancestors were told to eat rice hundreds and hundreds of years even though they might have some religious angst towards, but if they didnt, would be tortured, beaten, separated even more from their family, and or killed, would it be okay for me to come on yahoo and ask ignorantly why japanese ppl dont just admit they love rice?

True compared to some people with less tighter curls some blacks hair might be more difficult to manage, but that by no means means we/I hate our/myhair. I love the fact that i can wear MY hair any way I want and there are very few if any other races out there who can say that! Hell in Japan they try to rock the afro I get naturally, in california, they dread their hair, and I'll be damned if every time i dont go to the islands i see another tourist usually white, getting their hair braided on the beach! The question should really be why do so many other people try to get their hair looking like many blacks?

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

you obviously don't have no hair (LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL)--you have me dying of laughter--all this over some hair..........Girl what is your problem---a sistah must've burned you with a hot comb....LOL!

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

Who really cares, we can do with are avatars whatever we want, so get a life!!

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

i am black and my hair is natural curly, it's water wave and I love it so.....

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

you know not all black women have their naturally puffy and afro soem of them have a mix of nappy and AFRO= frizzy dark brown and those women are mostly from ethiopia or ertrea and sometimes some black women in america or the caribbeansn hav e good hair too and ur right people should admit it

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

Please speak for yourself. I like it both ways. If my hair is nappy all i have to do is brush it back and use water. thats it. and i think it looks cute. the only reason i wear a perm is so my hair can be tameable. other wise if i can wear a afro and not break any of my combs then yeah. i cant tell how many brushes and combs i broke because my hair was nappy. so either way im straight..

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

Why is this such a big deal to you??? Worry about your own nappy hair. I mean this question is absurd. If all that you can do is think of questions such as this then you really need a life. There are better and more important things to be worried about, and nappy hair isn't one of them. You have issues!!!

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

This question displays LLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOWWWW intelligence on your behalf! I am "happy to be nappy", and when I made my avatar a few months ago, I made it as close to my hair as possible. As for you, Oshihana, or whatever, stop trying to be something that you are not. You're pathetic and self-hating. I feel sorry for you. You're question is an embarrassment to black women. We all DO NOT hate ourselves as you do! Speak for yourself next time....

Why can't some black women on yahoo be honest about their hair?

My hair is not nappy. My aviator fits me because that's is how I have my hair.

How can I straighten my virgin hair?(My hair resists heat).?

My hair is natural and I've been trying to straighten my hair, but it poofs up after 3-5 days. I went to the salon on Friday and my hair poofed up today after I ran this morning. I know the obvious reason may be because I ran, but I don't want to live in constant fear of my hair poofing up so I don't exercise. How can I straighten my hair and keep it that way? I'm looking into wearing a weave because I don't want to deal with this every morning. Also, will relaxers work? How about soft curls?

How can I straighten my virgin hair?(My hair resists heat).?

Your best bet is to get a relaxer. With just a straightening comb or flat iron it'll never be for good.

If it's your first relaxer, I suggest getting it done professional and then you can treat your roots on your own as needed. It's permanet. Just be careful not to get a relaxer too much as it is damaging if overused.

With a weave, it's also good to have a relaxer unless you have braids or a sew-in.

Nothing looks worse than a free flowing weave with nappy roots. Looks all kind of fake.

Straightening your hair EVERY day will make it brittle and dry.

How can I straighten my virgin hair?(My hair resists heat).?

Dude, you have to straighten you're hair EVERY DAY! THats the only thing that works unforunatly :[

Food luck!

How can I straighten my virgin hair?(My hair resists heat).?

You have to work with it daily. The chemical straighteners only HELP to keep the style... You said it lasted 3 fays and that is about right...

How can I straighten my virgin hair?(My hair resists heat).?

Have you ever had an super perm and after that straighten your hair out with a straighten comb or maybe it just that your sweating to much.

How can I straighten my virgin hair?(My hair resists heat).?

use either blue sunsilk for poofness or

purple to straighten kinks and was your hair with one of these set you can mix and match em if you like and them use tresemme heat tamer spray on damp hair well towel dry hair and then use a low blow dryer and athen when dry all the way throu flat rion your hair all this can be bought at walgreens or CVS and yes a realxer will work and help but get it done at a salon and it touched at the salon

How can I straighten my virgin hair?(My hair resists heat).?

Yes, if you want to wear ur own hair, try a relaxer... but even when doing activities like working out and when dealing with humidity your hair can curl up at the roots... research Japanese Hair Straightening aka Thermal reconditioning in your area .. its like a relaxer but your retouch will not be needed for months and it is humidity proof.. if done right.. Research, find a stylist who has experience and trust me this is a micrale for curly hair...

How can I straighten my virgin hair?(My hair resists heat).?

try straightening it with isoplus pressing oil and using a straightening comb...i do that and my hair stays silky straight for at least two weeks. i usually don't press my hair that often though, i usually wear natural hair styles

How can I straighten my virgin hair?(My hair resists heat).?

You should get a relaxer, thats the only way that your hair wont poof or nap back up. If you dont want to get a relaxer i would suggest you get a sew in (with all your real hair cornrowed)

Hair extentions for a very short hair style?

Ok so for about a year I've had this hair style were the front is to my chin and the back is very short so that it will spike up, but I'm getting bored with the style and I want my hair long again. I've heard of different kinds of extentions, like they weave it or glue it. So I'm wondering which is better? My short hair is about 1in. long. How much is it gonna cost to get it down past my shoulders?

Thanks ^_^

Hair extentions for a very short hair style?

1 pk will be $20-25 for quality hair you should try a brand called milky way they have great extensions %26amp; they look natural. they also have a variety of colors

Could someone give me information on full coverage weave?

Do u have to have a certain length hair, can you get any color or texture and does it look natural?

Could someone give me information on full coverage weave?

yu have to get a length that matches yur length, and has to look authentic, b/c rilly, people like me would crack on yu if i saw horse hair weave. sorry, but its the truth, and thats how the world is. it also has to match yur hair type, unless yu want to be spontaneous and light it up with blue weave, or blonde.

Could someone give me information on full coverage weave?

Depends on how much you'd like to spend. Look at Tyra and Beyonce who are millionaires... they can afford the natural hair weaves that looks great. If you are willing to spend approximately $1,5000.00 sure, you can have great hair like them. From what I understand, it hurts. (Cornrows and such)

You can purchase a natural hair weave in any texture and color.

And NO you do not have to get a certain length that matches your hair length. You have have hair to your knees if you can afford it. You can get any color, texture and such. They have natural human hair that can be curled and styled. Be ready for the maintainence, though. (I asked my friend who is a stylist, I opted for natural hair clip in extensions that I adore.)

Does anyone know a place for sewn in weave in Las Vegas that's affordable?

How does beyonce, fix her weave/ wig?

how do they fix with her own hair to make it look like her real hair? do they use glue/ do they bond it with hers/ how do they do it/ how long does it take on the haed? i have ugly stretch marks allover my body, bn using bio oil for months bt no change, what should i do to atleast reduce their appearance? my boobs are also sagging, what can i use to make them firm again?

How does beyonce, fix her weave/ wig?

beyonce have a weave that is called fusion. with that there is no glue or sewing used, so it looks natural. u can style it and do what ever you would do with your natural hair. it takes a several hours to do a fusion weave. to reduce stretch marks i suggest that you use cocoa butter, the stick or lotion one will do for your boobs i think that you should go and get probably measured.(most department stores and victoria secret do it for free) and get the right bra size.

How does beyonce, fix her weave/ wig?

Well she was Front Lace wigs and there is glue also you cant do anything about the stretch marks just use coco butter and about your boobs start working out that might help alot

How to sew in tracks in you hair?

im new with sewing in tracks. i had a quick weave and glue in done before but i do not want the glue damageing mi hair soo. i want my hair to grow very long and this will help me from damageing my real hair ;D

How to sew in tracks in you hair?

I've noticed that sewing in tracks did more damage to hair opposed to not wearing extentions. If you do still want to do this, I recommend going to a salon to get it done. Also make sure you don't forget about your real hair underneath because that tends to be the hair that is damaged once you take out the tracks. Your hair may also look thinner when you remove the tracks. Wash your hair as usual with the tracks in. And moisturize the hair underneath.

Is this girl wearing a weave?

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii197...

Someone sent me this link wondering so now I'm wondering. Her hair just kinda looks unnatural to me because my whole family has long hair and none of it looks like that.

Is this girl wearing a weave?

I would think so. lol.

Is this girl wearing a weave?

Yes, it looks ridiculous.

:|

%26lt;3

Is this girl wearing a weave?

possibly, maybe extensions.. or she just has extremly long and thick hair..

Is this girl wearing a weave?

Yeah, it doesn't look to real.

Is this girl wearing a weave?

They're definitely extensions.

Is this girl wearing a weave?

No, it looks natural enough (it's wavy at the bottom only, the "wave" is uneven).. I've seen many women with hair like that.

Help with weave??

ok so i want this weave http://www.hairsisters.com/ver2/ViewDeta... do i only get 1 pack???i have thick hair??????and i think this hair look very real have any of u got this???

Help with weave??

you're sewing it right? you may need a pack and a half so buy two just in case. please take it easy on how many tracks you lay down because that hair gets bigger when you brush it. only diana ross and beyonce can get away with big hair. good luck :)

Help with weave??

ick! it looks so fake hon.

Help with weave??

Her hair is mad poofy and frizzy

What are the hair pieces woman in the news and tv shows wearing. How do they work. Or they wigs sewn

on top of the hair or what. They look fake. You can see when they become kind of lopsided. Erica Hill has one, I think. I just don't know how they differ from weaves and what is a weave?

What are the hair pieces woman in the news and tv shows wearing. How do they work. Or they wigs sewn on top?

most stars have hair extensions. the wigs they put there hair in a bun then put this cap thing on. its a cap put its made of a soft and nice material. nothing like the swiming or shower caps. then they put the wig on. they can even velcrow the wig onto the cap and there different ways. the most basic easiest and common is the cap way to do the tv wigs.

What are the hair pieces woman in the news and tv shows wearing. How do they work. Or they wigs sewn on top?

many tv personalities wear hair extensions and sometimes full head wigs, not hair pieces.

What are the hair pieces woman in the news and tv shows wearing. How do they work. Or they wigs sewn on top?

hair extent ion or full wig not hair pieces OK.

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

All the fake dyed hair, the hair weaves and extensions (white girls too) the fake tans, the extra tall heels, the fake boobs, fake butts, fake lips, fake cheek bones, lypo suction.

And in men, the fake tans, metro-sexual attitude, fake hair color, everyone of whatever little "clique" they are in dressed the same.

Both males %26amp; females are starving themselves, looking anorexic and weak.

Why is it that no one wants to be original or genuine anymore?

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

You bring up a question that I always contemplate whenever I see these people. I think it's weak-minded to follow a clique and strive to be something that you see in the magazine or on tv. I myself am who I am. If people don't like it, if I don't fit in because of it, oh well.

I'm a young woman and I don't wear make-up, I don't use 5 million different hair products, I don't dress in skimpy clothes that cost more than a meal at a 5 star restaurant, I don't wear extensions, I don't dye my hair, I don't get my nails done and I don't follow any cliques. I'm feminine but not the way society perceives the idea of femininity.

I'm just me and that's all I can be. If I were anything else I'd be just as good as spit.

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

I've been wondering the same thing....

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

they dont all look alike they all look FAKE...lol

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

Im into bodybiulding and i do bodybiulding is that unique genuine??

and no i did not wach any arny movies or anything i just wanted ot become really strong,

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

This was an awesome statement

You rock

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

how old are you?

dont get disillusioned yet.. i know i hate looking like every one else.

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

I know exactly wot u mean, weird isnt it, I strive not to look like anyone else lol..... especially teen girls all have the same hairstyles, straightened to perfection etc...... weird..

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

It sounds like you live in LA. I'm a frumpy, sloppy mom, and the group of people I hang out with don't really live up to these trendy standards. We don't have time. Sometimes I wish I could. But not when you put it this way.

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

Dude you are soooo right. I am only attracted to the unique in which I can't find anymore.

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

good question. the majority of people are conformists

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

yea kinda sucks

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

Because those people aren't happy with themselves .The way I see it is work with what God gave you.

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

who cares?

these things make some people feel better about themselves, and tough luck if u dont agree with the ways they go about it.

u r still ur own person.

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

everyone wants to be someone else

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

you are sooooo right!!!!! cos in the magazine no one is unique, and the ones who

are,don't get any publicity.but i like weird-looking people,i think they're cute. :-)

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

All you humans pretty much look alike to me.

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

yes..you right...this happening in Italy too..is so natural to be your self

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

I was thinking the same thing but not in terms of fashion and style. I was just thinking that it's getting harder to tell people apart. Or it could be just me. But you're right. Nobody wants to be themselves anymore. On the flip side, nobody likes people who are different.

*coughCULTURESFORUMcough*

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

Good point. This notable mass conformity is remarkably disturbing, although I find your statement to be quite generalized. For the most part, however, this holds true, especially with respect to urban areas. I've also observed that other things are starting to look alike aswell... if you observe vehicle designs today, you can really start to notice definite similarities. Newer GMC and Chev trucks are starting to look a lot like some Ford designs. I think this fusing of designs is due to the medias accelerating investments in the study and research of current human behavior and the constant fluctuation of our society. They study exactly what it is we like, and then integrade it into there designs. To be honest with you, I think you'll have to get used to it, because it doesn't look like it'll be changing any time soon! Sorry dude.

Has anyone noticed that everyone is starting to look like everyone else?

I'm from Philadelphia, which is really diverse, and pretty much everybody still has a strong sense of individuality. I haven't seen much of what you're talking about here ... The only group that seems to look alike is white girls from a certain region of the city. For example, white girls from the Northeast area of Philly seems to have similar clothing styles, hairstyles, makeup. It's pretty easy to point out a Kensington girl, too. But other than that, I haven't seen that at all.

Maybe it's just your location. Because in such a racially and culturally diverse place like where I live, pretty much EVERYBODY is original and genuine! :)

Curly weave?

i brought milky ways curly hair does the curls last im african american

Curly weave?

Yes, the curls will last. There is only one brand that i've tried that the curl falls out if it gets wet. That is a relatively new brand called Model. There is a produce call Wet-n-Wavy, that I recommend for maintenace of your weave once it's done. Spray it on and comb it daily with a wide tooth comb. Hope I helped! :D

Curly weave?

Milky Way is good hair, but how long the curl lasts depends on what "type" of hair you bought. Wet and Wavy hair is nice because you can flat iron it when you want it straight or wet it and it becomes "hispanic" curly.

Ez-weft or instant weave?

Which one do you guys perfer? I want something that looks really natural, is Ez-weft easy to do yourself? or should I opt for the instant weave? I want something that I can show my real part in my hair. Thanks for you're info :)

Ez-weft or instant weave?

Get a sew in they last longer. You can just get a partial weave. When you use the instant weave I believe you have to use the glue, the glue eats out your hair. I wear a full weave so I dontr have to deal with my own hair. My real hair is to my shoulders but it is sooo thick and I just had a baby so I have no time to detangle my har.

Ez-weft or instant weave?

It depend on how much you want to invest and how long you would like to keep your hairstyle. Personally, I opt for a full head sew-in weave but I also invest heavily into the quality of hair that I use so that it looks natural and can be washed/re-used etc.

If you just want a quick do for a week or so then I would opt for a quick weave.

If you want something that will last for a month or so a full head weave with hair bought at the local beauty supply will suffice.

Now if you want a weave that will last for like 4 months or more then you will spend close to $700 including the hair.

Just make sure you keep it tight. No one likes to "know" that you have a weave. It should compliment you. Hope this helps

Washing your hair when you have extensions?

I'd just like to know how to wash my hair when I have extensions in without tangling it up. I am putting the single extensions not the weave. I am doing the one thats like the fusion one. can you let me know the best way to do it with tangling up my hair and damaging and making a mess? I would be so grateful

Washing your hair when you have extensions?

Wash the hair in one direction. From top to bottom. Avoid washing hair upside down in the sink. Use shampoos and conditioners that are for dry hair and add the most moisture. Wash hair right after swimming. When brushing your hair, start from the bottom and work your way up while holding the top part to keep it from shedding or stretching

I wanna get a weave......?

but i dont know much about them. What is the best way to have it done? Around how much will it cost me? does it damage your hair? can i treat it like regulare hair? will it look natural? and last, is it worth the money, and the up keep? thanks!

I wanna get a weave......?

IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT STYLE YOU ARE TRYING TO GET, the best way to find out is to go to your local hair store and try out some wigs so that way you can experience what the style will look like on you before you get it done.

GLUEING WEAVE IN THE THE WORST WAY TO GET A WEAVE, BECAUSE WHEN ITS TIME TO COME OUT, you are just pulling your own hair out with the weave becase of the glue,

HUMAN HAIR IS THE ONLY WEAVE THAT CAN BE TREATED LIKE regular hair, some of the weaves look natural, some are worth the $$ and other arent!!!

HAPPY WEAVING!!!

I wanna get a weave......?

i dont think its worth ur money but when u get it done by a professional will look awsome also get it sew in if u have long hair or medium but if u have really short then u might have to have in glued in not good ummm it depends u will need two packe if u want a full head but if u want some hair left out then maybe one and a half also look online get human hair SO u can treat it like normal hair and make sure to wash ur hair inside and oil ur scalp 3 times a week good luck umm i dont think it dasmages ur hair if u take good care of it

sry for spelling mistakes im typing too fast:0

I wanna get a weave......?

it really depends on what kind you want and where you get it but unfortunately it will probably be pretty pricey. My mom's hair is thinning on the top of her head and she just got a piece and it looks totally real. i was amazed at how real it looked. i never would have known if i just met her. And hers is made out of real hair so you can style it and treat it like its real because it is! I would advise looking for salons that do that kind of thing and call around and compare prices. My mom got hers at New Look Institute so if you have the hair thinning problem you might wanna try them. It doesn't damage your hair. Although it is really expensive!!! but my mom says its worth it. Shop around for the best price before you make a choice. Good Luck!

I wanna get a weave......?

What is the best way to have it done?

sewn in

Around how much will it cost me?

depend on ur stylist but the most ive ever paid was 130

does it damage your hair?

if u dont take care of it but it actually helps it grow

can i treat it like regulare hair?

yes u can das wat its for....those who cant grow buy lol

will it look natural?

yup jus make sure u get da same color as yo hair and cover up them tracks

and last, is it worth the money, and the up keep?

yes and yes

Is weave made of horse?

fake hair

Is weave made of horse?

no its synthetic, like Barbies hair or human hair.....

I wore extensions once for a photography session and they were real, I have worn the synthetic for fun but I don't like them as well, they look pretty fake....

Is weave made of horse?

Dont know... but i would like to!

Is weave made of horse?

No! Horse hair is really coarse and I would really hope no maufacturer would think it would look even close to real (decent-looking) human hair. Fake hair is just that...fake. Synthetic.

Is weave made of horse?

no the usually human hair is donated to hair banks. the clean the hair many times before they put it in the track. or kanekalon(plastic) it works very well though

Is weave made of horse?

There is human hair, synthetic hair, animal hair, all types of weave.

Is weave made of horse?

no not really...

most of them are being bough from asia; dyed, preserved and everything and ready for resale.

plenty of people from our countries end up selling their hair for these kinds of uses

but yes some of them are actually made from horse tail...you know how a horse's tail would have like a looonggg hair on it which looks like real hair? lol

Is weave made of horse?

LOL no not at all.... it is synthetic most of it is human hair.

Is weave made of horse?

No, synthetic fibers.

How do you remove glued in weave??

First time using glue for extensions whats the fastest way to remove the hair and glue...HELP!!!

How do you remove glued in weave??

Put loads of conditioner in your hair, place a shower cap on your head, and sit under the hair dryer. The heat will cause the glue to melt a little and the condtioner will help in the ease of the hair sliding from the glue. Repeat step as needed. Just make sure you are as patient as you can be... because alota yanking and pulling will definately damage your hair.

How do you remove glued in weave??

You dont, it looks funny.

How do you remove glued in weave??

Its very difficult and not fun. I personally wet my hair first, then put baby oil on the track and let it sit for a good 10 minutes or so. Then start loosing them up and taking them out. Some glue will be left in your hair so you will have to continue using the baby oil and a fine toothed comb to get it out. If you don't want to go that route, they have hair glue remover at beauty supply stores. I'm sure baby oil works just as good though. Good luck!

How do you remove glued in weave??

have someone pick out the big pieces and then wash your hair and bush is alot and it will come out. not all but it will with time

How do you remove glued in weave??

theres a certain type of oil that removes it easily. i just don't remember the name. although, it might just be oil period. try soaking hair in oil, and try to remove it. if it doesn't loosen up, then obviously don't try ripping it. lol

How do you remove glued in weave??

I find that using a bond remover works best. You can usually pick it up at a Sallys or other places that sale hair extension products. You can also use oil sheen, but that takes a little longer and can damage your hair if not careful. You basically spray it on the track/bond and gently pull the track away from your hair.

How do you remove glued in weave??

GLUE REMOVER, sold next to the glue in the supply store.

If you are talking about the individual glue in pieces, don't remove yourself, go to your stylist to take them out or you risk hair loss.

I wanna get a sew in weave and i want side bangs wat direction should my conrows be in front?

pliz help i want curly hair behind and the front side bangs somethin like this :http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/2315/...

I wanna get a sew in weave and i want side bangs wat direction should my conrows be in front?

weave bad

no get

lolz

I wanna get a sew in weave and i want side bangs wat direction should my conrows be in front?

do not get the braids going straight back. Have them braided coming down the sides and around to the back. Make sure to leave some out around the edges. You dont want a lot of tension around the edges, causes breakage

I wanna get a sew in weave and i want side bangs wat direction should my conrows be in front?

A circle is always best, because you can put the net over them and stitch the weave to the net. I just got a weave put in lastnight "wet n' wavy" with a circle and net...My hair came out great!

I need Wavy Weave Advice....?

Hello,

I am getting my hair weaved in on Friday and I want to get that wavy, Kelly Rowland/Hallie Berry type of wavy curl, what is the best type of hair to purchase that will continue to hold its waves, until the end. I was thinking of going with the Beverly Johnson spanish wave. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks

I need Wavy Weave Advice....?

Sally's beauty store....they sell everything there! Find a local store near you and call....they have pretty darn good things there :D

I need Wavy Weave Advice....?

Milky Way is very but so is Beverly Johnson remember you get wat you pay 4 I see alot of these girls walking around with these wavy weaves looking like bird's nest

When doing kinky twists with your natural hair??????

when you do kinky twists with your real hair can it break your hair off? and when having kinky twists with your real hair: If i was to get my hair done on the 10th this friday how long would it stay up? will it look as it would if you were to have weave? and about how long would it take to finish them doing your real hair? thanx

When doing kinky twists with your natural hair??????

If you got your hair done this Friday, it should last a month. It may last longer or less depending on the texture of your hair. Thicker nappier hair will hold it better. If you did it with weave it would last way longer up to 3 months

When doing kinky twists with your natural hair??????

no...it will stay up about 2-4 weeks if you take care of them by wrapping them in a satin scarf at night...it will look the same as weave just with less hair...depending on your length of hair, about 2 hours

How do i care for my weave?

its not human hair and my ends are really brittle and nappy. What can i do to improve my ends?? plzz....help!!!

How do i care for my weave?

ok, next time get human hair, it'll make your life easier, lol. For now all I can suggest is to trim the ends. Non human hair doesn't respond to conditioner and will melt with thermal tools.

Glue Hair Extensions: They're pulling out my real hair!!!?

Hi guys

I got hair extensions with glue about a month ago. And from doing normal things like combing, brushing or straightening my hair (which I was advised 100% safe), the extension has come out (they are individual clumps of strands), pulling my real hair by the root with it!!! I really think I should get them taken out and put a weave in otherwise I'm gonna go bald... but how do I take them out myself? I don't wanna go to the salon and be expected to pay to get them taken out .. is there a safe way to do it myself?

Glue Hair Extensions: They're pulling out my real hair!!!?

If you go to a beauty supply store like Sally's, you can purchase something called Bond Remover. This will set on your hair and it will soften the glue so that you can take it out yourself. It's very easy. It should only cost a couple of bucks too! Just put the Bond Remover on your hair and let it sit for a couple of minutes (the longer the better), then you can lightly rub the evtensions out of your hair. If you have trouble rubbing them out, you can always use a comb a comb it out. Good Luck!!!

Glue Hair Extensions: They're pulling out my real hair!!!?

it really depends on the supstance they used to put it in

Glue Hair Extensions: They're pulling out my real hair!!!?

I hate to sound unsympathetic to your problem, but I guess I'm going to. Why don't you just grow your own hair? Extensions? My word...I've seen them and they look ridiculous. Don't pay for them to be taken out, pay for a haircut and start over man...

Glue Hair Extensions: They're pulling out my real hair!!!?

when your take'n them out, make sure that ur hair is damp, and put baby oil on it and let it sit. what will also help is shampoo, just let it sit

I have a sew in weave and its straight i was thinking about having a crinkle look but i dont know wh

i have real hair at the top but dont know what to do with it?

I have a sew in weave and its straight i was thinking about having a crinkle look but i dont know what to do?

i have a straight sew in too .. use a crimping iron .. if you dont have one they sell them at most beauty supply stores ..

I have a sew in weave and its straight i was thinking about having a crinkle look but i dont know what to do?

As long as you take care of it there is nothing wrong with trying something new. I have very coarse hair and trust me, I have done some of every thing to it. So just try it and see how you like it. Judging by your picture I think that it would look really good on you.

How much do u think a sewn in weave would cost?

are there any situations where the prices vary? anybody have one? what was ur experience? does it help hair growth?

is it good for damaged hair?

How much do u think a sewn in weave would cost?

This is my second sewn and I paid 65 for it. I have a short hair cut in which I'm growing out and yes it has helped alot to the point where the back wasn't braided and when i took the first one out I had a 1 1/2 in the back and she could braid it!!! If you get a good stylist with good work and price you will be just fine. I wish you the best of luck!!! Be Blessed

How much do u think a sewn in weave would cost?

For hair weaves or extensions, the cost will varey generally your looking at around $300.00 if not more.

This does nothing good for your hair and can in fact damage it more.

How much do u think a sewn in weave would cost?

the cost depends on how long u want to go u could also get it glued 2

How much do u think a sewn in weave would cost?

a sew in weave could cost about $50 and up depending on how much you sew in. A full head could be close to $80 or more. Yes i do have one but i either do it myself or a friend does it so it doesnt cost me too much. It does help your hair grow as long as you dont pull on it too much. It can be a way for damged hair to grow.

How much do u think a sewn in weave would cost?

my mom does sew in weave an it doesnt really damage hair that much but what state do u live in mayb she culd do it for u cuz she does her own and she's really good at it.

How much do u think a sewn in weave would cost?

i got one put in yesterday and it does help out your hair it cost around 120 but i got my cousin to do it ........for free!!!!!!!dont keep it in more than 2 and a half months and also get human hair it looks more real and better so you can keep it in longer.......good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you been to these hair salons?

Just wondering if anyone had gone because I'm trying to get extensions and/or weave at either of these places. Thanks!

1. Hair Extensions by Margaret in Elk Grove, California (Bay area)

2.Hair Extensions by Matt Yeandle in Los Angeles, California

Have you been to these hair salons?

no sorry

Have you been to these hair salons?

nope. I live in Japan I obviously dont.

Have you been to these hair salons?

Really excpensive, no!

Have you been to these hair salons?

no

What is a really good weave?

I want to get some micro braids and I know remi is good hair but what else is really good. Because remi can be expensive.

What is a really good weave?

Remi Is expensive but not good for micros.

Remi is to soft and it will slip out faster than another brand of hair.

Remi is only good for a sew in weave because its soft and barely gets tangled. Remi is not good good for a quick weave (glue) because its so expensive. Sew In's last longer then a glue in. You can spend top dollar for hair to last you a week.

( not good)

TRY: DREAM WEAVER, MILKY WAY, SENSUAL. BASICALLY DON'T GO WITH THAT NAME BRAND.

GO WITH SOMETHING PRICED REASONABLE. NOT CHEAP AND NOT EXPENSIVE. LOOK AT THE PRICE. PRICES MATTERS. THAT'S THE BEST HAIR.

DEFINITELY PUT ONLY HUMAN HAIR IN YOUR HAIR!!!!!

IT LAST LONGER AND LESS TANG-LY!

What is a really good weave?

Yes especially dream weaver I use that now and it is so pretty, it gets a little tangled easily after wearing it a few weeks, but if you take care of it, it will stay fresh and pretty. Report It

How Do I Get Weaving Bond Out of my Hair Without the remover?

Use a heavy oil, conditioner or grease. Vaseline works too.

Take your hair section by section and then apply one of those products directly on the glue.Let it sit a few minutes to saturate the glue. If you have a hooded dryer you can put the oil or conditioner and sit under there 10 minutes. Otherwise, take a fine tooth comb and then starting from the tip (takes less hair out) come downward scrapping the glue away. then shamoo and condition as normal.

You can also shampoo it, and then condition and try to comb out a little or remove it without combing, but you may have residue left.

You are going to comb some of your hair out. Naturally, putting rubber on your hair, it will be hard to get it out wthout taking some hair. I'm sorry to tell you, some of it will come out, just don't pull too hard and be careful combing.

If you can wait until tomorrow to pick up some of the remover that is better, it costs about .99 - 2.00 and it's white.

Otherwise, good luck.

How Do I Get Weaving Bond Out of my Hair Without the remover?

If you have baby oil use that. Let it stay on your hair for at least a good minute or two. Also use oil sheen to spray on it. Please try to get a rat-tail comb or a comb with small spaces in between it-not a wide comb. Then carefully, comb the glue out starting from the root of the hair. Do not wash your hair until you are able to get as much of the glue out that way first. Please do not use glue in your hair.

How Do I Get Weaving Bond Out of my Hair Without the remover?

Pinky is right

How Do I Get Weaving Bond Out of my Hair Without the remover?

Get the CREME OF NATURE detangling shampoo and wash your hair with that.. its the beige bottle. that will make your hair silky and soft, put the conditioner in your hair and use a fine tooth comb to comb the glue out, then wash your hair again with the creme of nature to get the residue out of your hair.

Please do not comb your hair dry with the glue in it, because the glue will come out along with your hair

Im thinking of getting a weave?

i have really thin hair and i was thinking about getting one..any comments about them? are they helpful? a hassle?

Im thinking of getting a weave?

keep your own hair. try locks/twists and when they grown long, braid it.

How does a good hairstylist and weave specialist come about getting more clients?

Im an excellent hairstylist and Im just having a hard time finding new clients. My prices are reasonable and I even make house calls what should I do to get more clients? I specialize in weave which is real popular these days and I make it look natural and very managable. I even have a myspace for hair now. I got a few new clients from doing so but i need more. My myspace is http://www.myspace.com/getweavednow

How does a good hairstylist and weave specialist come about getting more clients?

Word of mouth is the best way to let people know of your services. You can make some inexpensive business cards with Vistaprint and distribute some to your customers. Always say that if they know of someone that would like to have their hair done or just have a friend they know who gets her hair done to give them your card. It works every time because the prospective customer has evidence in front of her eyes that your work is great. Also, if you can afford it, place an ad in your local newspaper/gazette. This way people in your community will know that there is someone around that will go to their house. In addition, you can go to your local beauty supply store and ask if you can leave some business cards and a flyer that explains your services to their customers. Tell them that you can hang it on the window or put it on their counter in a frame so everyone can see and that you will keep re-stocking it. Most of the time, the clerks at these stores say no to this if you don't tell them that you will take care of it--the last thing they want is to help you and have to call you to come and re-stock your business cards. Make sure that on your business cards, news ad, flyer you include your my space info, your number, price list and anything else that you want the customer to know. The more informed they are, the more customers you will get! Hope this helps!

How does a good hairstylist and weave specialist come about getting more clients?

Go into the city. Black people normally are the customers you are looking for, since other races do not get weaves. Try appealing to the black community

How does a good hairstylist and weave specialist come about getting more clients?

I'm not sure where you are located but I would start with the Flyers. Create a professional flyer with Word Publisher. I suggest you give a special deal for high school students especially with prom season in full action, and list prices on the flyer for a few basic styles. I would place the flyers in local beauty supplies, hospital bulletin boards, local colleges, any place that alot of people gather and your able to post. I would even suggest paying for a spot in the local high school paper to draw in prom goers.

Anyone know anything about hair?

okay so i recently had my hair cut. it was a little bit past me chest and the lady messed up REALLY bad and cut it below my shoulders. it is all flippy and looks like a 4 year old haircut i HATE it. so i thinking about hair extensions. does anyone have any clue about what i have to look into whether it be weave or something but i want my long hair back X(

Anyone know anything about hair?

just go somewhere else and get it cut cute, but not alot shorter, just styled. and wait for it to grow out. =)

Anyone know anything about hair?

extensions are a few hundred dollars. i'd suggest going to another hairdresser and telling her/him the same thing you said here. you hate the flippy and you don't want it shorter.

Anyone know anything about hair?

oh wow this happened to me not too long ago, and what i did was straighten it, and put it in a pony tail on really bad hair days. btw NO ONE BUT YOU THINKS IT LOOKS THAT BAD! remember that..even my mom who said dont get sort hair admitted she thought it was cute. also you can sometimes goo backand get afree fixer hair cut but i wouldnt-embarrasing! Im am mixed and my hair is REALLY frizzy and hard 2 handle i twist every week but i wanna straighten

:my hair is really frizzy. i am haitan and caucassian so my hair is half smooth and half "african american" hair. im tired of doing it 4 hrs every week and having it get frizzy becuz then i have 2 cover it up. im also sick of never being able 2 wet it.are there anyways 2 straighten it 4 a long period of time and be able 2 wet it AND HAVE MY HAIR GO BAK TO THE NATURAL WAY WHENEVER I CHOOSE.???but i dont want weave or perm. PLEEZE HELP!! ;(

Im am mixed and my hair is REALLY frizzy and hard 2 handle i twist every week but i wanna straighten it Help!!

I am African American and my hair is smooth. You need to be comfortable with the hair you were born with. You can buy conditioners such as Garnier Frutisse or Pantene to make it easy to manage for you.... I guess. My BFF is Puerto Rican and she has thick and curly hair, and I think it is beautiful. Sometimes she blow drys it straight, and uses Frizz Ease. Hope this helps.

Im am mixed and my hair is REALLY frizzy and hard 2 handle i twist every week but i wanna straighten it Help!!

flat iron ar get it braided

Im am mixed and my hair is REALLY frizzy and hard 2 handle i twist every week but i wanna straighten it Help!!

buy products that will keepyour hair straight when you do straighten it like frizz busters and stuff, and just shower and dont get your hair wet. put bags or towels on your head when you shower. it sounds silly but it works. and your hair wont start to smell or anything as long as you wash your hair once a week. the natural oils in your hair keep it clean, but it looks greasy. so you might want to wear a pony tail half way through the week or sleep with baby powder in your hair over night, which absorbed the natural hair grease and it brushes out in the morning.

Does mariah carey wear a weave?

If you look at a picture of mariah carey from 1990 to now one would have to say that she's totally changed. From hairstyles, style of dress, men and even cup size, but one has to wonder is that all her hair?

Does mariah carey wear a weave?

that is her beautiful natural hair. she just got it like that

Does mariah carey wear a weave?

I think she has extensions.

Does mariah carey wear a weave?

Ive been getting weaving extensions done in my hair for over a year whats the most damage it will do to my hai

i am a hairdresser and i have seeen shocking things these extensions do to your hair because of the extra weight they can actually pull your hair out, i had a client who in the whole back section of her head had gone bald and it took her forever to grow it back.

If you want a weave and can afford a decent looking one then get it. Don't get one because of a man. He likes long hair tell him to grow his **** out.

Should I get a weave or not?

try braids first .....much easier to take care versus a weave .....weaves take a little more care than must realize...but if he enjoyed your presence with short hair.....keep being you !

Should I get a weave or not?

If you want to get one because you feel like you want one then get it!! But if your just trying to impress your boyfriend then,,,,,thats sad........unless hes gona pay for it

Should I get a weave or not?

I couldn't have said it any better than fairymetal girl.

Should I get a weave or not?

I think weave is great. The best HAIR is called Remi Goddess or Remi Velvet. It is a bit more than other hair, but so worth it. The cheaper hair tangles, separates and... starts to look like WEAVE after a while. If you have a man who can tolerate fake hair for the sake of beauty, I say it is a gift! I have long hair, but it is not relaxed and the maintenance on FRO is killer. So sometimes, I straighten it, sometimes I wear it natural, sometimes I wear braids, sometimes I do the ponytail thing... I have a million styles, but when you get a good one and take good care of it... there is NOTHING like a good weave. I say try it! Don't spend too much on the putting in of it because you can get the hood hookup from girls or women just as or more talented than the high priced salons. By the way... I personally like the results from an "impressed," satisfied man... but THAT'S just ME, girl!

Should I get a weave or not?

Weaves provide lots versatility. If YOU want to branch out a little and try a different look, I think that it could be fun. Maybe start with extensions or clip ons. They're relatively inexpensive when compared with a full on weave that could cost a fortune to put in and maintain. It's okay to consider your boyfriend's suggestion, but whatever choice you make, be certain that you are ok with it. Good luck.

When it comes to weave is there a point where it looks too fake?

like when a black girl wears a weave that looks way too much like a white persons texture. why won't they make more weaves that are still flowy but look like black hair?

When it comes to weave is there a point where it looks too fake?

they do, some people just dont know how to wear weave. if looks like weave then its not done right.

When it comes to weave is there a point where it looks too fake?

They do. You just have to find the right one.

When it comes to weave is there a point where it looks too fake?

i don't know but i wish they did or maybe i haven't seen it yet

When it comes to weave is there a point where it looks too fake?

i don' knpe

When it comes to weave is there a point where it looks too fake?

they do weaves come in all textures and as far as it lookin like a "white persons" texture some blacks have their hair straightened to that point or the naturally have hair of that texture so thats why weaves are made in all textures now as far as it looking to fake is from result of not knowing how 2 chose the correct texture for ur hair

Ok so i want to dye my weave?

i want to dye it so that it'll be dyed by tomorrow morning (i know short notice right?) well the track isnt in my head yet and i wanna do this with little to no cost to me

SO

in order to get the color i want i'll have to bleach the hair first

would it make sense to just leave it overnight in a bowl of fmv bleach?

and THEN i'm using kool adi to dye it

lol

i know ghetto right%26gt;?

pros/ cons?

stupid idea?

i mean i dont care about the hair getting damaged since it isnt attached to my head

and i didnt may much for it at all so that isnt a problem either

Ok so i want to dye my weave?

why don't you just by the color weave. Much less of a hassle. What if the weave doesn't turn out the right color that you want it. It is much easier to go in the store and pick a color out.

Quick Weave Questions?

Hey Everyone-

Thanks for checking out my question!

First let me tell you my story... I'm a fashoin model (I really am!) and I need a versatile extension. I used to get my hair professionaly done, and he was using way to much heat on my hair! I finally noticed I had so much breakage in the front and around my perimeter! I have sew-in personallity pieces right now! :) I would like to know if I get a Quick Weave with the cap 1) Will it stay on while the hair stylist are doing my hair?

2) Can it be put in ponytail?

3) Can the hair be applied were it can be parted?

4. Does it stay on? I'm stressing the issue because it would be so embarrising if it came off!!! Ahhhh!!!

5) If you don't think a quick weave is good for me then what is?

Thanks in Advance!

Quick Weave Questions?

hello sista...well a quick weave isnt what you would want (take it from me because I wear them ALL THE TIME!!! most of them are synthetic and the human hair ones are expensive and they look synthetic. They cannot be worn in ponytails or be parted at all. If your looking for something new try a Full Lace Wig...Im getting one and let me tell you from how it looks you cant tell its a wig. You can part it anywhere, put it in a ponytail and do all kinds of styles like its your real hair. Its hollywoods biggest secret! Im surprised that your stylest hasnt told you about the lace wigs being a model and all. Well I hope you find luck...but seriously try the lace wigs...check them out online. You can goole full lace wigs and WHOLE BUNCH of sites will pop up! Let me know how it goes!

Quick Weave Questions?

lol

no quick weaves cannot be put into pony tails. i see girls at my school with it and they can only have it in one style" the style they got the weave in.

it looks very unnatural and its so obvious.

sorry i dont know anything else about weave cuz i dont wear it. good luck

Quick Weave Questions?

Quick weaves are good for when you dont have time to do your hair and you have a decent hair line

there can be no parting or ponytail wearing.

if you have very dark brown or black hair you can pull it off(wearing the wig not parting it) but the lighter the color the more wiggy it looks

you can try a lace wig but you need a prof. to do it and can't mind glue and adheasives being attached to your head....i got one and it took forever to put on and was a mess, but then again i should have had someone help me. beyonce and lauren london and meagen good all wear them. If a full wig is not your thing you can get a lace frontal( just covers front hair line) and do a sew in in the back) you can part them if you want.

I recently had a sew in with my perimeter and horse shoe out and it was done well enough for me to part and wear in a pony tail.

maybe you should get a full weave with the back hair line out so you can wear it up and if you want a part get a closure.

Honestly decided how long you want to keep a style then decided on the type of work you want done, it makes a big difference
