Could someone give me information on full coverage weave?

Do u have to have a certain length hair, can you get any color or texture and does it look natural?

Could someone give me information on full coverage weave?

yu have to get a length that matches yur length, and has to look authentic, b/c rilly, people like me would crack on yu if i saw horse hair weave. sorry, but its the truth, and thats how the world is. it also has to match yur hair type, unless yu want to be spontaneous and light it up with blue weave, or blonde.

Could someone give me information on full coverage weave?

Depends on how much you'd like to spend. Look at Tyra and Beyonce who are millionaires... they can afford the natural hair weaves that looks great. If you are willing to spend approximately $1,5000.00 sure, you can have great hair like them. From what I understand, it hurts. (Cornrows and such)

You can purchase a natural hair weave in any texture and color.

And NO you do not have to get a certain length that matches your hair length. You have have hair to your knees if you can afford it. You can get any color, texture and such. They have natural human hair that can be curled and styled. Be ready for the maintainence, though. (I asked my friend who is a stylist, I opted for natural hair clip in extensions that I adore.)

Does anyone know a place for sewn in weave in Las Vegas that's affordable?

I wanna do something different to my hair that's actually going to last more than a week.

How do i keep up my wet&wavy weave?

i bought this type that says human hair...it looks wavy but sorta str8 i hear thats normal cuz it not wet.....but like im gettin it sewn in and i want it really nice....like i wanna kno can i flat iron it too and get it re wavy? tell me all u know please it will help me alot thanks!

How do i keep up my wet%26amp;wavy weave?

no flat iron, all u do is take the hair in sections and braid it. dip in some hot water let it sit for awhile. once that is done dry it and take the braids out the next day and the hair will become wavy. u can use a curling iron to touch it up if u want

How do i keep up my wet%26amp;wavy weave?

You can use Pantene shampoo and conditioner for curly or Silky hair. After using it, curl your hair when your hair is still slightly wet, or keep it in the position you want it to last in until you take another shower until it drys pretty much all the way.

Do anyone know any good hair shops in oceanside ca? Ummm someone that does african american peoples

Why are black women like this?

Everywhere I go they are always being loud, and rude, They are so nasty to me with those hair weaves and their overweight bodies. Like every other black man, I wish that black women would just disappear from the face of this earth because they have no purpose here. If any other black guys or white girls feel this way.......give me some feedback please!

Why are black women like this?

That is america, everyone is fat and loud there. Come to canada, theres hot black girls here, trust me, i know.

(Im white..well half..)

Why are black women like this?

dude wtf...lol

your gonna make lots of people angry tonight....

big no no!!!!

Why are black women like this?

I know a lot of white women who fit that description.

Why are black women like this?

wtf...bro, you sound like you have anger issues....however on the other hand i agree with your assessment of some black women, they can have very bold personalities %26amp; it can come off as a little too much, but thats only some %26amp; thats only how they come off at first.

Why are black women like this?

Probably because they see how nasty and hateful you are on the inside. Don't lump people into a category just because you ran into a few bad seeds. Not all black girls are like that, there are plenty of intelligent, mild mannered ones just like there are plenty of loud and obnoxious white girls. So get over it and get over yourself.

Why are black women like this?

omg, Jared. All black women are not like that. I for one do not wear hair weaves, and my body is on point these days. And all black men don't want black women to disappear from the face of the earth; some of them realize that without black women they wouldn't exist!! And i'm not a loud and rude young black female either! I think you need a change of scenery...because all black women are not the same..they might be wherever you reside, but I know many women that are not like that. Try not to generalize all black women. Some of us are unique.

Why are black women like this?

Ahem, Im a black female and you just disrespected a whole population of women for no reason. Not all african-american woman are like that and I surely am not. I think you need to get your facts straight

Why are black women like this?

what the hell dude not every black guy wants black women gone, and you sound really stereotypical but everyone in America is fat, rude and loud dumbass, you really pissed me off with that question (you should not generalize that statement because the 4 or 5 girls i dated were black).

Why are black women like this?

WTf is wrong with you. You must hate ur race, mother and ancestors. There are alot of other races who fit that description. You HATE urself - admit it! Low self esteemer! No wonder most black men cant move on - because of it! Love urself before u can recieve it bk!

Why are black women like this?

LMAO!!! And every stupid, ignorant, uneducated, unemployed, gay and on the down-low, pants hanging off his ***, selling drugs, wanna-be T.I. w/ 50cetns in his pocket, always in jail, black man (like yoursef) need to disappear of the face of the earth as well! =)

hahaha!! ...Brought you back to reality didn't I?? See how easily it can be reversed around on you. And we all know that a good percentage of black men fit 2 or more of the stereotypes above. So don't even front!

I don't know why people get on here and make all these stupid generalizations about people of certain racial backgrounds. As if they met every single (insert race here) person on the planet! Have you? NO! So you can't say that everyone of race X, acts the same. It's called individuality. And everyone has it. Perhaps you should get it.

Why are black women like this?

What black women are you hanging around ?? I am 1/4 black, and my grandmother is 100% black and she does not act like that at all ?! She is educated, isn't loud, is in extremely good shape for her age, is very polite, and above all she does not make generalizations about race like you !

Why are black women like this?

You're not Black; if you were, you would not insult your mother, grandmother, aunts and sisters with such an ignorant statement. If you were a real Black man, you would know that if it weren't for a Black woman you would not have life. A real Black man would acknowledge and appreciate the unique beauty and strength that Black women have blessed not only our own culture with, but also the world at large. An intelligent Black man would take it a step further and recognize that Black women are individuals (just like other ethnicities) and that only some Black women fall into this category.

Why are black women like this?

Do you know how sad you sound?

Why are black women like this?

Wotever moron. I still prefer Italian men....... so yeah.

Why are black women like this?

I'm sorry you feel that way, if you are indeed black. But, if we black women did not exist, I doubt your black mother would have given birth to you. Have you gone home and said that your mother? If someone needs to disappear, it should be you. I don't like self-haters. You people are the lowest in any race. Who would respect a man who can't even respect himself? You think trashing black people and saying you don't like them will make your life easier? You're still going to be called black and you're still going to suffer from discrimination. Too bad you can't relate to the only people who will fully understand your pain.

Why are black women like this?

Why are black men like this?

Everywhere I go they are always loud, and thuggish. They are so nasty to me with those ghetto clothes and their abusive way of life. Like every other black women, I wish that black men would just disappear from the face of this earth because they have no purpose here. If any other black women or white men feel this way.... give me some feedback please!

If you can say the EXACT same thing towards black women I can say the EXACT same thing towards black men right ? And I know that you say that you disagree with me and that not all black men act like that. Well I have a surpise for you, NOT ALL BLACK WOMEN are like that either

No go figure, you moroon !

Why are black women like this?

Im pretty sure your mama is black. How does she feel about this question?

Oh Sweet Desdemona?

How crazy do you get when love happens to you?

Why of all of a sudden you start feeling beautiful and fully appreciate that you are human?

Why is that you will wait a whole never-ending week to see her face for three seconds and those three seconds of her smile occupy your mind for the next upcoming week?

Why is that when you see her you start to smell sweetness and tenderness?

Why is that your thoughts about her in sync with your heartbeat?

Why do you at night sleep sleepless hours and openly declare how lovely she is?

Why is that now you start reading poetry and openly understand the dance of lovers?

Why do you feel happy when you see nature and humanity?

Why do you compare the morning light with her radiant glow?

Why is that sometime do you become delusional about the world and become illusional about her face?

Why do see the evening dew as her bright eyes?

Why sometimes at a drop of a hat do tears form in your eyes like raindrops when you become stunned of her awesome beauty?

Why does she inspire you to be better person in yourself?

Why do you often wait in around her block hours on end hoping to see a glimpse of her?

Why can閳ユ獩 you open any door without first thinking she might be behind it?

Why do you feel cold and hot all over when your mind mentions her to you?

Why is that you think the letters to her name are the only civilized symbols you閳ユ獟l ever need?

Why is that all love songs remind you of her?

Why is that in all girls you see her face?

Why is that all things seem connected to her?

Why is that when her name is mentioned you shiver with a immature hot shyness?

Why is that when you see yourself in the mirror you see her reflection too?

Why do you think that her love will conquer and prevail?

Why do you often spent much time talking to yourself about her?

Why do you think all of a sudden red flowers contain the elixir of happiness?

Why is that you think her nail polish matches the aurora of the red Northern sky?

Why do you feel that her voice contains the music of the spheres?

Why do you juxtapose her smile with the crescent lining of the new moon?

Why do you often look forward to the time when you are alone so you can day-dream about her?

Why do you feel blissful when the downpour comes so you can go ahead and smell the sweet scent of fresh grass?

Why do you feel overwhelmingly in love with her when you take day閳ユ獨 break under the cherry tree?

Why do you think her black wavy hair weaves the net of optimism?

Why do you think that she holds the key to solving the deepest mathematical puzzles?

Why do you think that her hands contain the pearls that defeat the mysteries of the world?

Why of all of a sudden do think that you were made for and she made for you?

Why? Well perhaps you have lost yourself crazy when love happened to you.

Oh Sweet Desdemona?

How can i wear my hair with braids???

This is perfect for the beach:

How to fishtail braid

Tame your hair with beach braids!

Love braids, but don't know how to make them? Grab a comb, clip, and elastic and get started now!

1. Part your hair down the center. Beginning on the right side of your part at your forehead, twist a one-inch section of hair away from your face.

2. Use a comb to separate a 1/2-inch section right below the first section along your face and twist that piece away from your face, combining it with the first piece.

3. Continue adding 1/2-inch pieces along your hairline down to your neck. Use a clip or a bobby pin to hold the hair in place at the nape of your neck.

4. Repeat the twisting on the left side, starting at your forehead.

5. When you reach the nape of your neck, unclip the right side and hold both the left and right sides in two separate sections.

6. Pull a 1/2-inch section of hair from the right section and add it to the left section. Repeat with a piece from the left section, adding it to the right section.

7. Continue adding 1/2-inch pieces down to the ends and secure with an elastic.

How can i wear my hair with braids???

Your style options only depend on how long your micros will be and how many hair accessories you have.

This means you'll have fewer options with shorter micros and less hair accessories or a whole bunch of ways to choose from if you get longer micros and pack a whole bunch of accessories to take with you.

If it's your first time with micros and/or you're going to Florida from a colder climate then wear mid-length to short micros. That way, you'll have less weight/tension on your scalp and presumably easier access for oiling it has part of your hair care routine.

And remember: bring some hair care products with sunscreen along!

Black women and mixed black women with long hair, Are you hated on because of your long hair?

Mine is almost down to my waist, and yes it's all mine and not weave but God do you know how many black women hate on me for this! It's ridiculous! Why don't they just grow their own hair long. It's not that difficult!!!

Black women and mixed black women with long hair, Are you hated on because of your long hair?

It is usually the women who do not know how to take care of and grow their own hair that think mine is a weave. I've never actually been hated on, mine isnt down to my waist either, just mid-back but Im trying to get there.

Theres nothing you can do that will ever change their ignorance, if they do not know how to grow their hair by now than they are refusing to learn.

Till then, just keep swinging it!

Black women and mixed black women with long hair, Are you hated on because of your long hair?

I don't understand why that is. My hair is a little past my shoulders (and I'm in the process of growing it out) so I don't exactly know how you feel, but I can get an idea. Its so annoying when other back girls make such a big deal about black girls with long hair like its impossible or something. If they tried half as hard, they probably could have long hair. I am constantly asked if mine is a weave too even though its not that long.

P.S.

For some black women, it actually is very hard to grow their hair out. It depends on the person.

閳?br>Black women and mixed black women with long hair, Are you hated on because of your long hair?

Im not black or mixed but people compliment my hair all the time. It reaches the small of my back.

Black women and mixed black women with long hair, Are you hated on because of your long hair?

I have really nappy hair how do i make it grow?

my hair is realy nappy and short. i don't mind it being nappy, but i just wish it would grow. i wear it in braids now with out weave, but it is not growing. what should i do 2 make it grow?

I have really nappy hair how do i make it grow?

You have to keep your hair moisturized. If you're natural you can wet your hair everyday. My two favorite hair products are Shea Butter Softening Lotion and Nature's Shine by Organic Root Stimulator. You can find it at Sally's Beauty Supply.

Avoid products containing mineral oil and petrolatum because they actually lock out moisture. With summer approaching you'll need to moisturize throughout the day to keep your hair from drying out. Also, tie it up at night with a silk or satin scarf or cap.

There are lots of other great tips and products to try at www.motowngirl.com

I have really nappy hair how do i make it grow?

You have to make sure to keep it well moisturized and conditioned. When our hair gets dry, its really brittle and harder for it to grow. A hot oil treatment every few weeks could help too.

Try not to pull your braids too tight. That makes it break off also. And sleep with a silk or satin scarf on your head. Don't use cotton because that will strip the oils from your hair.

And try not to use curling irons, and flat irons. Avoid putting heat in your hair. Its best if you just keep it conditioned and leave it alone.

I have really nappy hair how do i make it grow?

Well...I know I don't style mine as much as I should. I don't want it to break. I wear a satin cap (when I remember to) and wear it in a loose ponytail when I sleep so it won't rub against my pillow. I also wore braids for awhile. My hair is relaxed and I get a touch-up every 5-6 weeks.

I have really nappy hair how do i make it grow?

I have dreadlocks... Incidently I am Happy to be Nappy.... and my hair does just fine. It happens to be 16 ins. long. See... I did that nappy and without the 'creamy crack chemicals'...

I have really nappy hair how do i make it grow?

Your hair is probably growing, but remember that our hair doesn't grow out straight, it grows out curly. It seems shorter in it's natural state.

I have really nappy hair how do i make it grow?

Try not to relax hair so often. Try this site: www.treasuredlocks.com

I have really nappy hair how do i make it grow?

you need to use something wit protein and vitamin e

I have really nappy hair how do i make it grow?

go all natural with briads and no relaxers or prems

I have really nappy hair how do i make it grow?

your hair IS growing, just have patience. you will see results very soon. natural hair grows faster than hair that is treated with chemicals, i have found since going natural myself. you cant do anything to make it grow faster but just keep it healthy and moisturized. use all natural products, things with no alcohol. i found that Aveda products are terrific! your hair is probably gorgeous short, and with patience, will be gorgeous long.

Well Got My Hair Cut ....?

And I Hated It

This was about 3 weeks ago. Now I'm really trying to grow my hair back because it was way to short. I've been wearing it up in a weave ponytail for the last 3 weeks doing a good conditioning every 2 week, so very little heat is being used on my hair. I'm looking for about an inch to an inch and a half of growth in the nexttwo months... am i setting my sights to high? what can i do to maximize my hair growth? i have african amercian hair, and its kind of thin. I have a little growth right now....

Well Got My Hair Cut ....?

putting it in a ponytail w/ weave is bad for the hair..try to deep condition your hair every week and do a hot oil treatment with it...also braids grow hair really fast too but take care of them..and since it was cut it should grow back rather quickly got mine cut a lot but it grew back way too fast

Well Got My Hair Cut ....?

mine grows one inch per one-two weeks not kidding :)

Well Got My Hair Cut ....?

I've heard that massaging your scalp with your fingertips will stimulate hair growth. I'm not talking about drastic growth, but it will ease it along (or so I've heard)

I've tried it but I dont know if it really works (how was I supposed to be able to tell) Good luck! And definately keep staying away from the heat like you're doing. That is definately a good way to keep hair healthy!

How do you get your hair pin straight?

my hair is beyond curly. its like a big afro type thing and i want it pin straight without a weave. it always ends up looking like a huge poofball when i straighten it because its so dry.

so... yeah HOW DO I GET IT PIN STRAIGHT!!!!!!!

How do you get your hair pin straight?

You should blow dry it first and then use a flat straightening iron to straight it out. It works for me!

Good luck!

How do you get your hair pin straight?

You should try blow-drying it straight.

How do you get your hair pin straight?

You might want to try to use a gentle relaxer to get it straight since you say that it's really curly. Go to a salon and have it professionally done so that it doesn't cause breakage. They might also have some other alternatives besides relaxers too.

閳?br>How do you get your hair pin straight?

Best thing to keep from killing your hair is to get it professionally straightened or use the professional straighteners for a more temporary fix. Good Luck!!

How do you get your hair pin straight?

Have you tried blow drying it and straghtening it? Try it!

How do you get your hair pin straight?

get it chemically straightened

How do you get your hair pin straight?

i had the same thing, i used a hair product for straigtening and it was like my hair was paper thin and straight. it was amazing, considering i have curly huge hair. :D try finding a good one, it might be a little pricey but it will work.

p.s. chemically straightening hair is bad for it. i know someone who did and she is seriously balding.

How do you get your hair pin straight?

WHAT YOU NEED:

De-poofer (18:99 at professional stores)

Health spray (21.99 at professional stores)

elastics

Straigntner

Put the de-poofer all over your head of hair.Be VERY generous

Take the front of your hair (Where the bangs would be) And give it a spritz of health spray, then straighten.Tie it in an elastic

Do the same on both sides tieing them in an elastic

Yay straight hair!!! :)

I have the same problem.

How do you get your hair pin straight?

First you need to address why your hair is so poofy in the first place - it's dry. Try deep conditioning it for 2 weeks in a row (like on Sunday) and then see how it is after that. Make sure to follow the directions and keep a heated towel on your head so as to lock in the moisture. What I do is take a plastic bag (from Wal-Mart or something, but a shower cap would work equally well) and wrap it on my hair after applying the cream. Then wet and heat a small towel in the microwave for 20-30 seconds and put on your head (if it's not too hot).

A good conditioner that worked for me was Redken All Soft Heavy Cream. Used just one or two times you will see a HUGE difference.

Good luck!

How do you get your hair pin straight?

Ok, you can use a straightener, but i would suggest using

"Back to basics: Coconut Mango Rich Moisture" Shampoo and Conditioner.

And then after you take a shower, put about a nickel size drop of "Biosilk Silk Therapy" in your hair. It will make it verrry soft!

How do you get your hair pin straight?

fructis has this new system called sleek n something but yeah you should use that it gets rid of the frizz n everything n when you blow dry ur hair blow dry it straight down then flat iron it till its bone straight this should help!

How do you get your hair pin straight?

you should try to find something to put in it so that it isn't so dry when you straighten it, maybe try a certain shampoo and conditioner. I used to have dry hair Because I dye it all the time, I switched to Garnier Fructis and it isn't as dry anymore! It works great. I also straighten my hair. My hair isn't long enough to get it pin straight though, so I wear it like a rock star would wear it, straight, poofy, and kind of messed up looking.

How do you get your hair pin straight?

buy herbal esscence shampoo conditioner and they have a spray that u put on before you straighten uor hair with a straightener then use your hair spray that is also herbal escence pin straight collection. ironic the name isnt it.

How do you get your hair pin straight?

burn it

How do you get your hair pin straight?

I would recommend getting a professional straightener they are pricey about $100.00 but they work soo good. and when you straighten it, spray some hairspray on it(not a lot just a little spray)and that might help the frizz. try using pantene pro-v shampoo and conditioner, I have curly hair(underneath)and that stuff works awesome. you could also try blow drying it straight.

How do you get your hair pin straight?

try using a regular clothes iron. that's how i straighten my hair. you have to get someone else to do it for you. it will damage it though. make sure you get it trimmed often.

How do you get your hair pin straight?

the best straightener for your hair would be the hughe conair one because of its massive plates and all around heat it will make your hair supper straight.Or take your CHI and take a peice off hair and go supper slow

If I get my hair tree braided, will the cornrows show and can I pull my hair into a ponytail?

I know that when your hair is tree braided, they cornrow ur hair, then pull out the synthetic hair as they go along. But will the cornrows show if I try to pull my hair back and wear it in different styles? Does it actually look good? I am thinking about using the wet and wavy yaki, is this a good choice? Please help! I just got a sew in weave put in and I am not very happy with it. If I try to do anything with it a track is showing somewhere, and it just looks really fake and lumpy, kinda like a bad wig. I just want a style that will look nice and give my natural hair a break.I was also thinking about lace braids because I don't really like the lumpy feel of cornrows under all of the hair. Advise please!!!

Are there any women obessed with their hair?

I am african american and can never find anything to do to my hair. I always want a different look , I can never achieve the looks I want. My mother complains and says I should just braid it going back with weave. I want a more classy look, but kind of low maintance. Maybe I shouldn't but I really care what my hair looks like. I want to like what I see when i look in the mirror is this wrong.

How do I do my hair?

I need my hair done for school and I only have a week... I want it done with weave for the first time but I don't know how it would look. My aunt's gonna do it in kinky twists... I think but like i said i don't know. My hair when curly is past my ears but not to my chin, when straightened just to my shoulder.... I'm not getting hair a different color then mine which is like balck but mostly brown. Any advice on how else to do my hair for school or how you think my hair will look?

How do I do my hair?

kinky twists are good to do or you can get senegalese twists (exactly like kinky twists, except you use a different type of hair and their smaller therefore more versatile). I would not suggest micros because they take a long time to take out.

How do I do my hair?

you can tie it back...do braids....a bun...etc etc etc.

How do I do my hair?

Hair help needed in NYC...?

Ok..the only place I can think of is Harlem. Would you be able to go? I have a few friends that always get their hair braided in Harlem

What type of products do i use to get my straight weave in super tight curls?

sort of like christina milian in love don't cost a thing

is there some type of gel or product i can put in my hair that will make it curl up?

What type of products do i use to get my straight weave in super tight curls?

if u no what cat walk is its in a blue bottle and it has a white pump to have the gel come out... that stuff really works .. u can get it at hair salons and thats mostly it ... it doesnt cost much

What type of products do i use to get my straight weave in super tight curls?

A lot of hair products will NOT be able to get straight weave to stay that curly. They processed that hair so that it stays straight no matter what you do to it, your best bet is to buy weave that is a bit curly, and it will hold the curls much better

African American/Black ladies...how do you tell a man that you wear a weave?

Ok, so, I know all about hair, and I know that some of us african-americans don't have it. If my hair is not in braids (which most of the time it is), I get pieces put into my hair. I'm about to make the switch now, but there is this guy that I'm talking to now and I'm afraid that when I get my hair done, he's going to feel my head (all men do) and be turned off that he feels lumps. So the question is, how do you deal with this situation ladies?

African American/Black ladies...how do you tell a man that you wear a weave?

Well, I'm Dominican, my hair grows out long on it's own. However, even though my hair is half way down my back I Still wear weaves because it keeps my hair from being damaged when I want to wear it straight or something. It also gives me a lot of versatility as far as shorter hairstyles without cutting my own hair. My boyfriend is White from a small town, he didn't even know what a weave was when we first started dating. One day, I just told him, set him down showed him how a sew-in works and explained it to him. He could care less. He loves me with braids, weaves or natural. LOL, just tell him. If he genuinely likes you he won't care. Everyone wears weaves these days from Beyonce to Paris Hilton to Britany Spears to Jennifer Lopez, it's not a big deal.

African American/Black ladies...how do you tell a man that you wear a weave?

tell him what happening im pretty sure he won't mind.

African American/Black ladies...how do you tell a man that you wear a weave?

Just tell him that you wear a weave. If he's a black man he should already know the we don't have lots of hair. My hubby knows that i wear one and he don't give a damn. It's better than walking around ballheaded. Right?

African American/Black ladies...how do you tell a man that you wear a weave?

most men know the difference between weave and hair.. you dont have a situation he already knows your hair is fake

African American/Black ladies...how do you tell a man that you wear a weave?

jsut tell him

im sure hes been with other ladies that have worn weaves before

African American/Black ladies...how do you tell a man that you wear a weave?

i dunno dont most people already know that basically all girls wear extensions these days?...LOL its really not a big deal...its not like you have breast implants or anything...its just a weave...

African American/Black ladies...how do you tell a man that you wear a weave?

I know this is bad but, my BF saw some pics in my phone where I had long hair which was actually a weave. Now all of my weaves look natural. So now of course I dont have it anymore. So, my BF said what happended to ur hair. I said I was going through some changes at the time and I cut it off. And he was like niiice!

African American/Black ladies...how do you tell a man that you wear a weave?

If he is black, he should understand this. If he is not black, then you might have a bit of explaining to do. You will basically have to tell them the whole process, and they just want to understand black methods more, you know? Whatever you do, be honest, don't say its your real hair.

Ok this is a really stupid question...what exactly is a weave?

i know that african american girls get it for their hair but what exactly is it?

Ok this is a really stupid question...what exactly is a weave?

weave actually is real human hair in most cases but it can be synthetic too. they are either sewn in, glued in or braided in. And actually its not only african americans that uses weave.......Paris Hilton uses weave to add length....and if you dont want to cut your hair you can use weave to make your hair shorter.....it just adds versatility

Ok this is a really stupid question...what exactly is a weave?

It's fake hair so their hair looks longer. But don't ask them if they have a "weave". I think that's offensive.

Ok this is a really stupid question...what exactly is a weave?

It's a hairstyle, as far as I know...Look it up on the net...*L*...

Ok this is a really stupid question...what exactly is a weave?

They attach hair (usually from white people or sometimes it's synthetic) to the black person's hair. This makes it look more soft, long, and smooth. Before they put the weave in, the braid the person's real hair down onto their head.

Ok this is a really stupid question...what exactly is a weave?

Yeah you may be right , this is kinda stupid question :P

try looking for it at a English - English dictionary.... and by the way where r u from...???

Ok this is a really stupid question...what exactly is a weave?

A weave is a strip of either synthetic or natural hair that is placed (and actually attached with a special glue) directly at the root of your hair. It's usually not placed around the crown of your head as the "track" as it's called, would show through.

To visualize, you would take a small section of parted hair from, for instance, the side of your head. You'd lift a thin piece of your natural hair, apply the glue to the track, and place it on top of the hair underneath the spot you've lifted up. Hope that makes sense!

Ok this is a really stupid question...what exactly is a weave?

Fake hair

Ok this is a really stupid question...what exactly is a weave?

It is strips of hair, about 3" in length, human or otherwise, woven together on a little piece of fabric, and then literally sewn to your own hair (do not get the glued version). I love them! When my hair got fried from an inexperienced colorist and I had to cut it all off, and I got a weave. It's awesome. The best at weaving is done at African American salons and I would encourage you to visit one first to talk with an expert.

Im am mixed and my hair is REALLY frizzy and hard 2 handle i twist every week but i wanna straighten

:my hair is really frizzy. i am haitan and caucassian so my hair is half smooth and half "african american" hair. im tired of doing it 4 hrs every week and having it get frizzy becuz then i have 2 cover it up. im also sick of never being able 2 wet it.are there anyways 2 straighten it 4 a long period of time and be able 2 wet it AND HAVE MY HAIR GO BAK TO THE NATURAL WAY WHENEVER I CHOOSE.???but i dont want weave or perm. PLEEZE HELP!! ;(

Im am mixed and my hair is REALLY frizzy and hard 2 handle i twist every week but i wanna straighten it Help!!

I am African American and my hair is smooth. You need to be comfortable with the hair you were born with. You can buy conditioners such as Garnier Frutisse or Pantene to make it easy to manage for you.... I guess. My BFF is Puerto Rican and she has thick and curly hair, and I think it is beautiful. Sometimes she blow drys it straight, and uses Frizz Ease. Hope this helps.

Im am mixed and my hair is REALLY frizzy and hard 2 handle i twist every week but i wanna straighten it Help!!

flat iron ar get it braided

Im am mixed and my hair is REALLY frizzy and hard 2 handle i twist every week but i wanna straighten it Help!!

buy products that will keepyour hair straight when you do straighten it like frizz busters and stuff, and just shower and dont get your hair wet. put bags or towels on your head when you shower. it sounds silly but it works. and your hair wont start to smell or anything as long as you wash your hair once a week. the natural oils in your hair keep it clean, but it looks greasy. so you might want to wear a pony tail half way through the week or sleep with baby powder in your hair over night, which absorbed the natural hair grease and it brushes out in the morning.

Meagan Good??....Does anybody know if thats her real hair or not????

I always thought it wasn't but then when i saw some close up pics of her hair it looks real....if it isn't i need some weave like hers and make it look real

Meagan Good??....Does anybody know if thats her real hair or not????

FAKE

Meagan Good??....Does anybody know if thats her real hair or not????

i don't think this should have been best answer he didn't even say why he thought that Report It

Meagan Good??....Does anybody know if thats her real hair or not????

haha i dont kno for sure but i think its fake.. extensions but they did a good job right!

Meagan Good??....Does anybody know if thats her real hair or not????

i dont know what your talking about....sorry

Meagan Good??....Does anybody know if thats her real hair or not????

She was in "Eve's Bayou" as a child and her hair was long in that. So I am guessing that her hair is a very good length. However, I am also sure that she uses weaves/extensions in her hair just like the rest of Hollywood. Beyonce, Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, Jessica Alba, Ciara, etc...

Meagan Good??....Does anybody know if thats her real hair or not????

i don't think so i remember seeing her on this show and hair was not that long...she might have a little length to her hair but some of that is weave

Extending my hair ???

All my hair fell out from chemotherapy, but Im finishing treatment soon so my hair will be growing back in !

I wear a wig now. But, when my hair starts to grow back in, im not going to want to wear it that short ( atleast 4 inches long), wich is going to take a long time to growout. Is there a type of extension or weave ( i really have no idea what that is) that could make my really short hair longer. Like past shoulder length ?

Extending my hair ???

May the Lord Bless you now and always!

Extending my hair ???

hair grows back fast, a weave can be pain full and damaging to hair wear the wig for a little while more and soon you will have gorgeous hair!! good luck!

Extending my hair ???

sewn in weaves or extensions can really damage your hair, and you end up with weird layers because of the way they are applied. plus, they are extremely uncomfortable. glued in extensions are also uncomfortable, and don't last more than a couple weeks. your best bet is to suffer through the short hair, or continue wearing your wig.

Extending my hair ???

Just look at Brittney Spears. (of course, hers is done badly....so maybe she's not a good example). They can just weave it in.

I think you should just wear it short...it'd be cute.

And congratulations.

Extending my hair ???

An extension is when they glue pieces of hair onto your scalp. A weave is when they braid your hair into very small, tight cornrows, and literally weave strands of hair into the braids. Both have the potential to damage the hair you already have, especially extensions because the glue can rip out hair follicles. If I were you I would just let the hair grow out naturally.

Looking for a new hair style?

I'm 21 and i'm growin my perm...i've been doin weaves for a couple of months now and summer is practically here and this weave thing is gonna get annoying so i need another style...useful sugestions plz

Looking for a new hair style?

i say try micros(braids) they are very easy to maintain and plus you dont really have to do anything but spray hair oil on them...then when you take them down yo hair will be much longer....so give it try...

Looking for a new hair style?

try a pixie cut it will be really short but so much easier to take care of and much less maintenance.

Looking for a new hair style?

beyonce's straight hair is just over the top irresistable.

http://beauty.ivillage.com/hair/cutsstyl...

this is fine too.

http://beauty.ivillage.com/hair/cutsstyl...

it's so sexy and fine, i love the shine and the little highlights on the hair.

Looking for a new hair style?

Go for the nappy headed look.

Looking for a new hair style?

I couldn't tell you what haircut to get because getting the perfect hairstyle all depends on working with the shape of your face and the type of hair you have. I suggest you visit various websites to find what would work best with your face. Remember, just because it works for someone else doesn't mean it'll work for you. Try using different haircut elements. Would bangs work for you? If so would it be better a straight cut bang (high or low) or an off to the side sort of thing? Is your hair thick or thin. If thin, try experimenting with layers either the type of layers that show on the top or the kind that hide underneath. It all comes down to what works best for you. Also, if you have a monotone haircolor you coul always experiment with highlights.

I know this might not be the kind of answer you're looking or but I hope it heps nonetheless,

Kianha

I need new hairstyles! I'm 13 with a full-head weave?

I have long (about 4-5 inches past my shoulder) black hair thats usually pin straight and i wear it out most of the time. I want something else other than curl it crimp it put in a ponytail and step by step instructions would be great. Thanks in advance!

I need new hairstyles! I'm 13 with a full-head weave?

cut it

I need new hairstyles! I'm 13 with a full-head weave?

Ew...you have a weave? What happened to your real hair?

I need new hairstyles! I'm 13 with a full-head weave?

You could try doing a Miley Cyrus hairstyle here's how:

Spray freshly washed roots with volumizing spray. I like Bumble %26amp; Bumble or you can try Aveda volumizing tonic .

If hair is naturally course or curly, work a straightening balm through hair. Here's a great list of balms .

Blowdry hair straight, starting at the roots to get extra volume. Hair must be completely dry for this look to work. Blow cold air at the roots to add volume (cold air locks in a style)

Separate hair into three sections, securing with a ponytail holder. (It's easier this way to curl your way through each section).

To curl hair, use a 1-inch barrel curling iron. Starting with one section, take a 1-inch portion of hair and wrap hair around the barrel of the curling iron. (Wrapping hair is different from the traditional curling method. You don't want to 'clip' hair into the barrel. Wrapping allows you to curl all the way to the root). When you're curling, make sure to leave ends loose.

Release the curl after about 5-10 seconds (hold longer if you want a tighter curl). You should have a corkscrew curl.

Roll curl and bobby pin it close to the scalp. (I sometimes skip this step to save time).

Alternate the direction of the curl as you work your way through the section. (It's all in the direction you wind hair around the barrel of the curling iron. Start by placing hair on top of the barrel and wrapping around, then switch by putting the barrel on top of the hair before winding it around). Alternating directions makes curls look more natural.

Once pinned curls have cooled, release them.

Remove nozzle from dryer and gently loosen waves with cool air. You can also separate curls with your fingers, just make sure not to brush them out.

To add shine, spritz a hair serum . Or forego hair serum and spritz with saltwater spray. I like John Frieda Beach Blonde Ocean Waves Sea spray.

Set with hairspray. Just don't overdue it, you don't want new waves to feel 'crunchy.'

What You Need:

Volumizing spray

Straightening balm (if you have thick, course hair)

Hair dryer

A 1-inch barrel curling iron

Ponytail holder and bobby pins

Shine serum

Hairspray

Saltwater spray

I need new hairstyles! I'm 13 with a full-head weave?

Why don't you put it in a ponytail and then curl it?

I need new hairstyles! I'm 13 with a full-head weave?

how about going natural and putting a few tracks her and there or change your weave texture like deep wavy or a naturally curly or just do a little change like instead of wearing a bang were a part to the side or Vic verse, just be creative.

I have a sew-in weave. I need advice in how to take the build-up balls that come after I take it out

The build up balls take some of my hair out. What can I do to help stop this. Since it's hard I can't wash out my synthetic batik sew-in weave.

I have a sew-in weave. I need advice in how to take the build-up balls that come after I take it out.?

I have a sew-in also which I have professionally maintained every two weeks and redone every 2 months. I asked my stylist why was this happening she stated that it is called shedding. Shedding happens everyday when you comb your hair but when you wear extension you can't comb it everyday. So when you take them down all that is the shedding and occasional lint and dirt that was missed when you washed or didn't wash.

How do they put a weave in?

how do they do it if you have meadium sized hair

How do they put a weave in?

There are two different methods for adding extensions (or weaves). The best way to do this is to "sew" them onto your head. Although this sounds a bit scary, in actuality they just braid your existing hair into cornrows that extend horizontaly around your head. The new hair is then sewn onto these cornrows. This method is best because it does the least amount of damage to your actual hair, and as the cornrows grow out they can simply be tightened back up to your scalp. People can keep extensions in for months this way. The other, cheaper alternative to having your tracks (pieces of the new hair) sewn in is gluing. A high-strength glue is used to adhere the tracks to your scalp. This is typically messy, hard on your real hair, and once it grows out, cannot be salvaged. A special remover is required to get the glue out. Hope that helps! :)

How do they put a weave in?

i have no idea

How do they put a weave in?

idk i never hadd weave my hair is long

How do they put a weave in?

sometimes they braid your real hair first to your head. then they sew or glue pieces of hair tracks onto your hair.

How do they put a weave in?

There's a few different methods of adding weave hair. You can glue it to the scalp or you can flat braid your hair then sew it in. Both wreck havoc on the hair, I think its a big waste. But hey, it looks good 20% of the time.

There's also other things availible like lace fronts, half wigs, full wigs.

Im thinking of getting a weave?

i have really thin hair and i was thinking about getting one..any comments about them? are they helpful? a hassle?

Im thinking of getting a weave?

keep your own hair. try locks/twists and when they grown long, braid it.

I am bald on top, how can I get a weave without showing tracks?

I would like a side part, preferably, but if bangs are easier, I'll take that. I have hair at the crown, but for me to blend or cover a track, I would be at the top of my head.

I am bald on top, how can I get a weave without showing tracks?

Cap it. (stocking cap weave) Or you can get a lace front

I am bald on top, how can I get a weave without showing tracks?

Yeah, I'd get a good lace front and wear it like beyonce

Does anyone know how to make an afro puff with weave?

Is it possible to do a pompaduer/hump hairstyle without weave?

I have medium hair..if you can please explain

Is it possible to do a pompaduer/hump hairstyle without weave?

I'm not sure why you would need a weave to do a pomp?!? Unless you don't have allot of hair in the front. Take all the hair you have on the front of your head, back comb (rat) the hair so that it looks like you have a nest going on up there. Spray your hair alittle with hairspray only at the root where its ratted. Then gently comb your hair back making sure NOT to uncomb what you just ratted. Make it look smooth, then hairspray again. AND NO you dont need "white people hair" to do this hairstyle!!

Is it possible to do a pompaduer/hump hairstyle without weave?

pretty sure u gotta have white people hair sista

Is it possible to do a pompaduer/hump hairstyle without weave?

well what do u think kkkkk think bot it

Is it possible to do a pompaduer/hump hairstyle without weave?

yes, you must use volumizer and hairspray with hairpins. i have seen it done and it looks great.

What type of moisturizer should i use under my weave?Any other tips?

what is the best type? do you have any other tips? i am trying to grow out my hair.

What type of moisturizer should i use under my weave?Any other tips?

try the dr.miracle 's products. its expensive but it work.

What type of moisturizer should i use under my weave?Any other tips?

Olay.

What type of moisturizer should i use under my weave?Any other tips?

Olive Oil

What type of moisturizer should i use under my weave?Any other tips?

That depends on the type of weave.

If the weave is glued, you will want to avoid oils and greases. Greases are a no-no in general because they clog your pores. Oils and greases will loosen the glue. And since a glued weave is not meant to last as long as a sewn-in weave, your hair should be okay without adding anything to it. Just moisturize before weaving.

If it's a sewn-in weave, you will want a lightweight oil that won't weigh your weave down and that won't cause build-up. Luster's make an oil spray that is pretty good. It's an oil spray, not an oil sheen. It's in a clear plastic bottle. Other oils that are good are carrot oil, jojoba oil, oilve oil (not the cooking kind, lol). You shouldn't have to apply it too often. About once or twice a week should do it.

Hope this helps.

My hair relaxed/natural?!?

hello

i need to find a GOOD website that has photos of hai styles for BLACK people.! my hair reach a little bit below my ears the root are natural but the tips are relaxed.

rember i dont want weave or whatever just nanural hairstyles of 2007 I REPEAT 2007 or 2006 not 1980! lol

My hair relaxed/natural?!?

At some point, you will have to cut all your relaxed ends if you want to go natural. I did this for my daughter and used a texturizer until it was long enough to twist. After her natural hair reached a certain length, I twisted the hair after washing it and let out the twists once it dried. She wore headbands to keep it off her face (very cute).

Try this site: http://going-natural.com/index.php?optio...

Also, many beauty supply stores have magazines that feature natural styles.

Good Luck!

My hair relaxed/natural?!?

Well you could get nicely styled cornrows... But at that hair length i'd encourage you use extensions.. Honestly most of the black hairstyles on the web are limited to relaxed hair.. You could look up natural hair styles for black women on yahoo.. or natural hair magazines at rite aid or a beauty supply store in your area... You could get twists..( with your natural hair.) But the twists wont stay until all of your hair is completely natural.. You should look up tips on transitioning.. because during that time.. if your not careful your hair will break off.. Wash and deep condition your hair at least once a week.

Hair Crisisss!?

I've had a short hairstyle for three years!

The first year when I got it cut, my hair was in pretty bad shape. It was uneven and breaking because I didn't know how to care for it correctly.

I had to get it short. But I liked it then. And I went to the salon regularly to get it relaxed and conditioned. It was shiny---kinda like Judge Hatchett's! For some dumb reason, I got it cut because I didn't like the length it had grown out to. Those days I wasn't up for weave so I thought I couldn't do anything with it. After I cut it, I started going to the salon less and less. I noticed my hair had lost its shine. Since the beginning of this year, I haven't been to the salon. For a couple months I just let it sit there! But now I'm using boxed relaxers [which I don't like.] Still, a mixture of me not knowing what exactly to put in my hair, me letting it go for so long, and stress are getting to it.

1. What is a good weekly/monthly routine for black hair? Including all the hair products

Hair Crisisss!?

Palmer's has an Olive Oil Formula Hair Conditioner that will really work on keeping the shine in your hair as long as you use it everytime you wash it and keep your ends clipped...you only have to use it once when you wash it and it stays until you shampoo it out...

As far as hair care--I recommend you wrap your hair, because it's short---get a good flat iron and straighten it really good and just wrap it before you go to sleep at night--it'll keep your hair straight and you won't really have to do too much to it when it's time to style or put that much heat on it--it'll already have a little bump to it.

I wash my hair with the Optimum Oil therapy shampoo and conditioner. It smells good and it doesn't leave that weird film on your hair, like some conditioners do.

Hope you get some more good advice on keepin that hair healthy and shiny!!

Hair Crisisss!?

u idiot go 2 the ******** salon!

Hair Crisisss!?

There is no set routine for black hair. Your individual hair texture and condition of the hair will dictate what maintenance you need for your hair.

A good web site/forum to visit is called Black Hair Media Forum. It's hair care and beauty information for women of color.

http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/default....

On the site you can learn all about what kind of hair texture you have and the best way to care for it from other members who have experience with their own hair. It is not product affiliated. It's simply a group of predominately black women sharing hair care strategies.

I am a member and have used the advice from the site to transition from relaxing my hair to going natural to learning how to care for my hair in it's natural state (curly as opposed to straight).

I've gotten recommendations on products and hair care routines and ultimately found a mix that works for me.

Hope that helps you!

Hair Crisisss!?

If your hair is anything like your avatar, you should wash ur every 2 weeks with a really good shampoo and conditoner. Olive oil products are really good and make ur hair really shiny. also if you u use a box relaxer, try the olive oi one. Using the entire line of a certain product works well. Also when you wash it, use a mousse foam wrap lotion and comb it down straight with a little of gel and sit under the dryer. Afterwards, comb it out and apply a silicon based serum, like biosilk. This will enhance the shine and protect it from heat. Flat iron or curl in whatever style you like. But I would leave that up to a stylists if u can't do it. But in between salon visits, try this.

Hair Crisisss!?

Try using Vitale Super Reconstructor Conditioner....it has menthol for dry itchy scalps. It will give you that shine that you are talking about. I use it weekly. It contains Protein, so it will aid in streghtening and growth. You can get it at any beauty supply. And drink that water girl...most of the time its the lack of it, that causes most of our problems from the top to the bottom.

p.s. I understand the financial part of it. I haven't been able to go to the salon in about 6 months. I have 3 kids and just couldn't keep up with it. But basically if you get a good conditioner and use mild relaxers. I think you will be okay until you make it to your appointment.

Good luck!!!

African American Natural Hair Care?

Does anyone in the Dallas metroplex know of a natural hair care salon. I'm not looking to wear micro braids or weave. I would like to find a professional stylist that can take me through the transitioning period.

thank you

African American Natural Hair Care?

i dont know of any places

i stopped getting relaxers in 7th grade and i didnt have no help me transisition to natural, it can be hard because your hair can start to break where the natural hair and relaxed hair meets, keep getting your ends trimmed or you can just go for the big chop off!!!

what i did was use a product called stay soft fro, on the bottle it looks like sta.sof.fro or somethinf like the kind that is for extra dry hair comes in a brown bottle. it can be a lil drippy, but it is great for natural hair, my hair was so soft, people assumed my hair was dry because it was natural, my hair felt like cotton, it is a very good leave in conditioner, and it made the relaxed parts of my hair look less straight, so it blended in a lil more

having natural hair says so many things about us black women, people see us as being bold and having courage because we actually decided to have the guts to go "nappy" as they would say lol i hate that word. but until you get all your permed hair cut out u might wanna try maybe flat ironing your hair if u want. i flat iron my hair since i dont get relaxers, if u wanna know of a good flat iron email me, the website is folica.com u can look at all kinds of flat irons and they had this thing where it says top 10b best flat irons, the #1 was a 1 1/2 inch sedu it had the best ratings and everything, im gonna put a pic on there like everyone else, but it costs about 125, it works the best i have tried so many i mean my hair even moves like a white girls lol, that is how straight i get it.

but good luck goin natural email me if u like!!!!!

Ok so i want to dye my weave?

i want to dye it so that it'll be dyed by tomorrow morning (i know short notice right?) well the track isnt in my head yet and i wanna do this with little to no cost to me

SO

in order to get the color i want i'll have to bleach the hair first

would it make sense to just leave it overnight in a bowl of fmv bleach?

and THEN i'm using kool adi to dye it

lol

i know ghetto right%26gt;?

pros/ cons?

stupid idea?

i mean i dont care about the hair getting damaged since it isnt attached to my head

and i didnt may much for it at all so that isnt a problem either

Ok so i want to dye my weave?

why don't you just by the color weave. Much less of a hassle. What if the weave doesn't turn out the right color that you want it. It is much easier to go in the store and pick a color out.

What is the longest that u should leave a weave in?

because mine was in for about 4 months... and im takin it out and a lot of hair is coming out.... soo was that 2 long?

What is the longest that u should leave a weave in?

When the black widows start leaving the nest. It is time. LOL Just kidding. I have no idea.

Where can i find a salon that does great weave in ohio!!?

please help, i need my hair to be done in 4 days! thanks yall!!!

Where can i find a salon that does great weave in ohio!!?

There are salons in ohio that do okay weave jobs but your best best is to cross the michigan border and go into Detroit they have some of the best salons in the country and a lot of them specialize in weave jobs like the lace fronts that are now being worn by all the stars such as beyonce, trina, and tyra banks.

Has anyone had a weave?

i haven't got very good hair and was wandering about having a weeve.can get one that lasts for a few months or how long do i get it redone?

Has anyone had a weave?

I've been wearing weaves for years and I do have thick shoulder length brown hair but I wear weaves for manageability. I only use human hair preferably Milky Way. Make sure to use a leave in conditioner everyday. Get it redone every 5 to 7 weeks for your own hair's sake. Deep condition and treat your hair every time you take it down.

Has anyone had a weave?

Nope and don't plan to. God bless me with long, thick, sandy brown hair. But if u wanna have good hair, u might wanna grow it out and take extra good care of it. If u do get a weave, don't get anything that will take out ur hair when u take the weave out.

Has anyone had a weave?

Girl it will itch like crazy unless you get human hair but human hair is more expensive. go ahead and get one

Has anyone had a weave?

if you have the money go for it and go to a good salon that knows what they are doing.

i wish i could afford one, my hair gets just past my shoulders and stops. i would love it to be longer and thicker

Has anyone had a weave?

It all depends on the how you get the weave put in and what type of hair you have. If your black you can get a weave sewed in and it will last you about 8 weeks. If your white you can glue them in and they won't last long. If you sew it it will slip out when your hair slips. The their is fusions which is best for whit hair and last more than 3 months but it is very costly.

Does beyonce have a weave?

or is that a wig? whats doin with that hair? im sure its not naturally 3 feet long and blond

Does beyonce have a weave?

Of course she does. And for her being a celebrity it doesn't look all that great sometimes. There was a picture in People magazine where you saw the track right on top of her head - you shouldn't be able to see that!! A lot of celebrities wear weaves - Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, etc.

Does beyonce have a weave?

Hellz no she dont wear no dam weave she got long hair so quit hatin on ma girl beyonce koo and se dont wear no dam wigs and plus dey dont make wigs dat long.Of course u would probably no since u ugly *** buy wigs 24/7 and yo momma beyonce to sexy ya'll sayin it like ya'll do her hair ****! Report It

Does beyonce have a weave?

that is real hair she got dat good jeans from her mom

Does beyonce have a weave?

yes its not her hair..thought the world knew that by now..lol..I wonder if she remembers what her real hair looks like!

Does beyonce have a weave?

Hell yeah she has a weave. But she switches it up. Sometimes it's weave and sometimes it's a wig. She's still hot though.

Does beyonce have a weave?

her hair is probably blond but not that long she might have tracks in her hair

Does beyonce have a weave?

Yes...it's a very good weave too, you can't even see the tracks and it matches her own hair texture.

Does beyonce have a weave?

of coarse but like the dude said she switches it up but she wore her real hair like once

Does beyonce have a weave?

Yes, she has one, as well as almost all the celebrities out right now. It is much easier to take care of than real hair. Celebrities change thier styles so much for music videos or concerts or whatever, that thier hair would fall out from all the blow-drying and curling and straighting and all the products used to get different effects every single day. So, instead they wear weaves and extensions to help thier natural hair stay healthy.

FYI, just a bit of useless trivia: if u remember beyonce's "baby boy" video with sean paul, the hair in the dance break when she was belly-dancing in the sand?? that cost her about $60,000. for all of avout 10 seconds of use in a video. Crazy, right? lol

Does beyonce have a weave?

is it a weave? is the pope catholic hell yeah

Hiar color matching to weave!!?

Hi Out there! I bought the brazilian wave bohyme in the #27 and now Iam wondering what color should I dye my hair to match it ( I am planning to leave a small portion out). I foumd 2 color charts with the #27 :

http://www.hairandextensions.com/Color_C...

http://www.esthersonline.com/retailer/ar...

I think the reason they look so different is just because of the lighting on them. I think the second color chart listed gives a more accurate look. But then again, don't know. so any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!

Hiar color matching to weave!!?

The reason why they look different is due to the fact that most websites use only one color chart for all the brands they sell so it may not be the official color chart for what you just bought. Plus, The color on the computer may not be the same as in real life.

It's easier to dye your hair and then find extension hair to match than the other way around.

I know that a level 7 honey blonde shade will be able to match the extensions perfectly....

Look through the these different haircolor here on the Clairol site.

http://www.thecreativestudio.com/main.js...

I'm pretty sure that Clairol Jazzing in Creme Soda will most likley be the best match....you'll have to lighten your hair before using it.

http://www.thecreativestudio.com/dispens...

You can use Clairol 7th stage with 1 activator packet and 20 volume creme developer to lighten it....you can use this on relaxed hair (if it is relaxed) Click the Lighteners tab to see it....all of these are availible at a lotta beauty supply stores and Sally's.

Good Luck!

Hiar color matching to weave!!?

well...since i have a hint that your'e black/african american {not sure...}...with that hair color i'd suggest you'd use dark and lovely chestnut brown/blonde and make sure you use a booster...to achieve the lightest shade possible...you should go to a stylist of course anyway...but if you cant...i guess that^^ or a sandy brown would do...its a pretty hair color though for sure...anyway don't ever forget to do a strand test before you do it...and don't leave the color on because you don't think its light enough! it's always lighter and brighter when its dry!!

anyway... good luck on your new fab hair color!!!

Hiar color matching to weave!!?

How about you dye your hair first a color that you like and then find a weave to match it. I'm pretty sure you will find a color to match your dyed hair easily. There are different brands of hair. If you by #27 in one brand it may be lighter or darker than another brand so you will have to shop around. Or if you decide to do it your way, take the weave to your stylist and I'm sure she can mix up something to match the weave color.

Hiar color matching to weave!!?

Have your stylist look at it before they do anything. They may be able to add the weave so it looks like highlights or that you have two colors of hair (and it not look a mess). But I agree with the person who said that you should have found the weave after your hair color.

Physical Appearence Real truth ?

Hi,

I am a little fat and have lost hairs in the front part of my head. As a result of which I did hair weaving. After that lots of gals finds me attractive, but most of the time I conceal the fact that I had gone through cosmetic surgery. Do u think if i tell the truth the same gals who are attracted to me will feel the same or will they be resistant towards me?

Physical Appearence Real truth ?

being truthful is always the best policy

Physical Appearence Real truth ?

False hair and false teeth are very similar... don't be afraid. Guys do love girls the way they are.

How to take shine out of weave?

how do you take the shine out of weave that is on a track? i was it to blend with my hair.

How to take shine out of weave?

??? i dont kno that u can but ask where u buy it from!

How to take shine out of weave?

you may need to rethink the type of hair you are using. If your hair is more on the coarse side, use a yaki hair, if it is silky, use a silky hair. NEVER use too much oil (oil sheen, shine spray, or etc.)on it, as it will make it stringy and even more shiny. One way to make your hair blend, is to put a little bit of oil (sheen or other wise) on your natural hair only, then flat iron or curl it with the weave blended in. This will help blend the the hair very well.

How to take shine out of weave?

Don't buy silky straight hair, buy yaki. It's more natural......... Normally you match your hair to the textures sold in the store. I never usr silky straight hair for any styles. It doesn't hold any curls and it is very unruely hair. You can try to shampoo it to get the shine out but I think it is there to stay pretty much. That is the texture the hair is unless it is dyed hair you may wash some of the color out...........good luck
