How do they put a weave in?

how do they do it if you have meadium sized hair

How do they put a weave in?

There are two different methods for adding extensions (or weaves). The best way to do this is to "sew" them onto your head. Although this sounds a bit scary, in actuality they just braid your existing hair into cornrows that extend horizontaly around your head. The new hair is then sewn onto these cornrows. This method is best because it does the least amount of damage to your actual hair, and as the cornrows grow out they can simply be tightened back up to your scalp. People can keep extensions in for months this way. The other, cheaper alternative to having your tracks (pieces of the new hair) sewn in is gluing. A high-strength glue is used to adhere the tracks to your scalp. This is typically messy, hard on your real hair, and once it grows out, cannot be salvaged. A special remover is required to get the glue out. Hope that helps! :)

There's a few different methods of adding weave hair. You can glue it to the scalp or you can flat braid your hair then sew it in. Both wreck havoc on the hair, I think its a big waste. But hey, it looks good 20% of the time.

There's also other things availible like lace fronts, half wigs, full wigs.
