My hair is exactly at the tip of my shoulder, but i want it to be like at least 3inches past my shoulder. I braid my hair a lot and I will admit it does a lot, but i need more. I dont want to wear a weave for my senior pictures in may of 2008 or for senior prom and blah. I dont believe in cutting my split ends. Trust after a couple years of that I see that it does nothing. I need some REAL useful products, tips, advice, recipes, and blah to make my hair grow before may 2008. Be specific. lol..thanx

the only thing i can recommend is a good multivitamin and extra bi0tin, that helps with making the hair stronger, als0 y0u mayb f0r right n0w wanna chill 0ut with al0t 0f heat and d0 regular deep conditions.. deep conditions make the hair stronger als0 and if the hair is stronger it will not break.. dont use so much heat to decrease the chance of breakage and if you do all of those things your hair will grow by 2008 i don't know if it will grow where you want it but it will definitely grow, or improve in texture *thickness*

well... i have thick hair too.. although i am biracial (Indian %26amp; black) um to make my hair grow longer i stopped relaxing it and styled it naturally... i stopped blowdrying it because the heat is bad for hair cuticles (let it airdry)... i use vive by loreal the orange bottle and it helped my hair from breaking... also stop braiding ur hair so much because that does damage ur hair especially if its breaking! get it trimmed to remove any split ends and dont wrap ur hair at night... i know what they say wrap ur hair so that ur hair can stay moisturized but it does nothing but add to ur splitting ends! dont over use on hair products if ur going to use it use it in moderation... try not to expose ur hair to the sun again with the heat and now uv rays the sun is ur enemy! so where a hat or tie ur hair in a bun or something... dont overly brush ur hair either... if ur going to leave it natural only brush/comb while its wet... but if you want ur hair to be straight get a PROFESSIONAL ceramic iron... i know this is going to be causely but its worth the investment trust me... it wont damage ur hair like fake me out ceramic irons or cheap irons... the price u should be looking at it about $150... before i had changed my routine my hair could not grow longer than my shoulder without it looking trashy at the ends but now my hair is to my belly button and i get compliments on how beautiful my hair looks even when i do nothing to it!
