Are hair extentions from Regis worth it?

I was just had a few questions about the hair extensions that they sell at the Regis salons in the mall. I'm interested in purchasing the clip in ones because I know that the weaves and the glued in type really damage your hair. So I was wondering if anyone on here every got any and if you could tell me if they we're good or not, if they we're worth the money, how much they we're, etc. I was also wondering if they lasted long enough, if they looked real and blended in well and such.

Thanks in advance, I'll give 10 points to the most helpful answer.

My little sister and her friends are into the 'scene/emo' hairstyles, and a couple of her friends have gone to Regis and gotten their extensions. One of them loves hers, but she only got a couple put in the front that basically look like highlights. Another hates hers, because they were hard for her to keep it. They didn't look bad, or terrible, but they didn't look as good as the ones that are done in higher end salons. For the price (I think they're like $10 per extension) you might be better off to try something else. Jessica Simpson has a really affordable line out now with Ken Paves, a popular hairstylist to many celebrities. It's probably one of the cheapest, but better made, extension line you'll find easily. I'm not sure if there is an exact site for the extensions, but I know several retailers have them, so you may want to check into that.

Try looking on:

HSN ( www.hsn.com)

Hair U Wear ( www.hairuwear.com )

Or simply google Jessica's line.

You should try the Jessica Simpson line of hair extensions at Trade Secret. They are pricey but you can put them in and out as much as you want. I heard that they last up to 3-6 months.

You kinda have to try it for yourself to be sure. I don't know how much you're really capable of handling money wise--so I can't really say if it's a good investment for you. The only thing I'm sure of is that if your hair is as thin as you say, it'll be a problem for them to stay in. Something to consider. Why not go talk to the Regis people, and just bear in mind that they might be trying to sell you what won't last in your hair. Still, the only way to know for sure for yourself is to try them once and see how they do and how you like them.
